I'm 12 weeks pregnant and it feels too good to be true, my sickness has completely stopped and i've always been full of energy, with my first 2 boys i was sick all the way through. Could this be normal or should I be worried?

My friend said her doctor did not and that they dont normally do it but all of my other friends said they definitely do it and they all had it done, 10+ girls I talked to. If they don't do an ultrasound, how do they know that that it is still alive? I know that is terrible to say but I have known many women that had a miscarriage before 8 weeks but did not know as they did not "pass" it and only found out through ultrasound.

whats the latest time that you have found out that you were pregnant. ive herd of not knowing until you were 5 months but want to know is, why was there such a delay? why didnt you find out sooner? without BC? was it because you had a regular period for 5 months? and what made you think that you were pregant?

Really frustrated. I lost the mucus plug 8 days ago; i haven't had any major contractions, but my heartburn has become really bad. My doctor said that once you lose your plug, usually the baby comes anywhere from 1 day up until 2 weeks after.
I am really, really frustrated. HELP!!

How many centimeters are in an inch? Im 18.5 weeks pregnant, and I want to know how they measure my baby. They are always talking about him being centimeters, and how he is supposed to be about 10.5 inches, but how many centimeters is that? Help me out. Thanks.

I don't feel I am showing at all. I am only 7 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. But, when I put my clothes on I look like I have a puge in my stomache. My regular clothes are a little snug I can no longer where belts. But, when I look at my stomache with no clothes on it really doesn't look different to me. Where you able to tell changes in your abdomen when it first started to change?

you've been in labor for 13 hours and your contractions are very close together. When the nurse checks your cervix, you still have not dialated. What are some possible problems?what happens.

Last night me and my boyfriend had sex,we didnt use protection. This morning when i woke up i went and toke a shower and just layed down for a little bit.I went to the bathroom and i was bleeding.I dont know if this is associated with me being pregnant or if its normal. Im only 15 and this was the biggest mistake that i could have ever made, ive been with my boyfriend for almost 8 months now and i love him more than i have ever loved anyone in my LIFE. We talked about what would happen if i do get pregnant and he said he would be there for me, and that he would take care of me and our baby. But it is so easy to change your mind and walk out since hes not the one with the baby. i want to get the morning after pill but im not old enough to get it without a parent being present, i cant tell my father, hes my WORST nightmare when it comes to things like this. How can i get "the morning after pill" without an adults super vision? What is the first thing i should do if i am pregnant?plz hlp.

my cousin just had a baby last saturday. however i'm curious cuz she had her period through it all. and the test came back negative. she never showed and said she never felt the baby move. is it possible to not know your pregnant? i just found it odd is all.

I am 38 Weeks, On Saturday I went to the hospital with contractions, and cramping. On Thursday when the dr. did a cervical exam, she loosened my mucus plug, so that is gone. last night I was having contractions 8-10 minutes apart and this morning they were gone. I am dialated to a 3 and 70 % effaced with the head in a -2 position . I just want to know if there is anything i can do besides castor oil, already tried it and it didnt help. Thanks.

What do they test you for when your doctor orders this?Just for diabetes?Do they check all your stuff like your iron and all that or do they do that seperate in your urine?

she was wondering if her water broke now would the baby be okay. Her doctor told her that if she delivered earlier then 36 weeks then he would not take her she would have to go to another hospital does that sound right.

ok, 1 dpo which happened to be right after christmas i started getting very tired. i've had twinges in my tummy, and i've aso been bloated every since. i get insomina at night, but not every night and really thirsty at times. now is really not a good time for me to be pregnant. i also had some discharge, and i just feel weird. 5 dpo i had this sharp pain almost like a cramp. my period is due on the 7th. is there a possibility?

My due date is 1/11/07. I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced as of 12/27. The head is at -1. My midwife told me it won't be long, but it has been 5 days and nothing! I am ready to have this baby. Do any of those old wive's tales work to bring on labor?
