I think I'm pregnant, and I have a best friend (who is a guy) and he wants to date me. I am currently unsure about what I'm going to do if I am pregnant and my boyfriend is a "bum". Whats the best way to tell my best friend that I'm pregnant because I really would like to talk to him about it?? Help?!

just be honest and tell him. he'll probably fall more in love with you if you're just honest.
it's never as bad as you think it's going to be:)

Well, first, I would make sure you are before you tell him and get him and yourself all upset when you may not be. But I think that if he's your best friend, he'll be there no matter what and since the daddy is a bum, maybe he'll step in and help you out. Good luck!

i would tell him that you think youc are preg and you want him there for you and there is nothing worse than a bum bf because i have a daughter and she is 1 and i am a single parent and that sux i wish her dad was a lot more better but things happen for a reason and if you are preg maybe he will straighten up and if not you will have your friend who will be there for you and you will not be alone and you will be fine hope for the best and if you want to talk my e-mail is hellokitty_19_2002@yahoo.com i can realate what you are going through

well first, find out if you are indeed pregnant, after that you might want to talk to your boyfriend about it before you say anything to your best friend if you are pregnant, if your boyfriend bails on you and this guy really does want to date you, talk to him about it and see if he STILL wants to date you even after he finds out you are pregnant, if he does..then sweetie, go for it, there are many women out there who have babies with men who don't want anything to do with them after they find out they are pregnant and it takes a long time for them to find someone who wants to be there for them and their child (I happen to be one of those women, and I have been with a guy for 7 months who adores me and my child just the same as if she were our baby). But as for the best way, I'm really not sure about the best way...what worked for me was to just sit him down and tell him, in an uninterrupted environment and just tell him everything, see how he reacts when you first say it, and go from there.

just sit down alone with the guy and tell him you have something important you need to talk to him about best friend to best friend. bluntly tell him your pregnant and you know your have "issues" on your hands. I'm sure if he is a real friend he will empathise with you and you can work everything out.

Tell your best friend - that's what he's there for. If he is truly your friend, he'll stick by you - maybe even replace what you are missing with your "bum" boyfriend, whether romantically or emotionally.

well don't tell him until you know for sure. and then you should tell your boyfriend first. then you tell you best friend that you are pregnant and you need him to be there for you. he is your best friend he will love you no matter what you do. good luck.

if you are not sure if you are pregnant then maybe you can tell him that you think you are and take a test and ask for his support, if he is truly a best freind he should support you,, if you dont want to do that then take a test to be sure you are pregnant and tell him, be honest,,

He's your best friend and he wants to date you?...and i guess he doesn't know you have a boyfriend? doesn't sound like he's a real close boyfriend. if he's a friend he'll listen...if he just wants to get you into bed....then he's not really a "best friend" Tell him!

why dont you just wait until you know if you're pregnant or not. And then if you are, just tell him the truth, its not hard. You got pregnant, its not his baby, he's your friend who will listen.
