When I was pregnant, I was on www.babycenter.com and www.babyzone.com a lot. Both are so helpful with questions like these. If you go to the babyzone message board you can talk to other people who are expecting the same month as you too which is even more helpful then just reading articles about it. At babyzone they also have a week by week calender you can have emailed to you that tells what your body and the baby are going through that week. Here is an example:

Your baby is about eight millimeters long, and an ultrasound done now would detect the tiny thumping of the heart. Although all your baby's major organs have formed, they are not fully developed or functional yet

According to the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy your 8 week old is about 1/2 an inch long.

Go to http://www.babycenter.com They show you pictures and explain everything about how the baby grows week by week. You can sign up for free e-mails that will come at the beginning of each week. It's pretty amazing. Hope that this helps.

Have a look at this site ,its amazing ,it shows a 7 week foetus on a video,also it will tell you right through your pregnancy what your baby is like.

www.babycenter.com, and there are lots of books that take you through the pregnancy, giving size and weight refrences with each week or month. Your Pregnancy Week by Week is a great one, I highly recommend it.

go to pregnancy.org, and you can chart your whole pregnancy. my wife is currently doing it and it's really neat because you can see all the progress the babies making. there are other links on that site you can go to to see 4-d images of ultra sound pics, they're sweet.
