what's the latest time...?

Question

whats the latest time that you have found out that you were pregnant. ive herd of not knowing until you were 5 months but want to know is, why was there such a delay? why didnt you find out sooner? without BC? was it because you had a regular period for 5 months? and what made you think that you were pregant?

im just curious

With my 4th pregnancy I was 17 weeks before I found out I was pregnant. I had been on birth control pills for 11 years and continued to have periods throughout, but developed some stomach ailments that my doctor originally thought was Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I didn't know I was pregnant until I went to my doctor for my regular yearly physical. She was concerned that my cervix felt like I was pregnant. I did a urine pregnancy test that came back positive and then she listened for a fetal heartbeat, which we heard clearly. An ultrasound was needed to determine how far along I was. I experienced no normal pregnancy symptoms throughout my entire pregnancy.

I continued having my cycle 3 months into the pregnancy. The doctor said I was still releasing eggs, therefore it would have been very easy for me to think I wasn't pregnant....it also would have made it really easy to have twins, thank goodness I didn't.

I was about 3 months with my daughter. I have PCOS and extremely irregular cycles. I tested because both my brother and my grandfather told me I was pregnant. How odd is that? Guess I was being a bit emotional!
