My son very rarely moved during the day when I was up and around, but a night, I swore he was throwing a party in there...
Just kidding, but my boy was much more active at night.
Wait until baby gets the hiccups, that's funny!
No worries. Baby will become more active as you get further along.
There isn't a way to tell how much baby will move, and you are still early on.
If you have concerns, you can get a fetal heart monitor. It's hard to find the heartbeat, but very cool when you do. I could have listened to that all day! Look at the baby stores near you, or babies R us online. They should have one. Don't buy a cheap one though, they won't work as well.
Enjoy and congratulations!

i does no longer be too in contact at this element. i began feeling the toddler circulate with this being pregnant around 14 weeks, in spite of the undeniable fact that it became particularly reasonable. i'm 20 weeks now and the movements have become plenty extra great merely interior the previous week. some toddlers are extra lively than others and the region of the toddler on the time of circulation could have an effect on what you experience. while you're worried, attempt ingesting or eating some thing and then mendacity down on your part or sitting nevertheless for slightly. My toddler generally starts to bypass as quickly as I try this. yet, bear in mind that even your surgeon or midwife won't assume you to experience toddler circulate every day at this element. perfect of success!

hi-
all babies and pregnancies are different so you cant really go 'by the book' on this.
baby 'should' move 10 times within 2 hours.
but there are so many things that affect that--were you active a lot? did you do housework? etc etc
there are things that you do that put baby to sleep.
as long as your baby is moving, he should be fine
if you dont feel baby move AT ALL in 24 hours--then you need to call the doctor.

drink cold juice and change positions, he may just be moving against an area that you cant feel as well, or he may have been moving while you were asleep. If you stil don't feel movement in a few hours, call you doctor so they can check the baby for you. Good luck!

At this atage in your pregnancy some days you will feel alot of activity and some days not so much. The baby is very small and can move without you feeling it.

you're lucky to feel movement at 16 weeks, its much earlier than most. BECAUSE its early you shouldn't feel ALL movement.

Call your ob/gyn's office and ask to if you can get in a little earlier on your next appointment.
