Pregnancy - December 2006

Its almost 3 weeks since the "deed" and I know its very early but this morning my tummy is feeling icky, it aches and its very much like what I would get if it was the onset of a tummy bug (maybe that is what it is), my tummy is also rumbling a lot more than usual (i dont eat breakfast but it doesnt normal rumble this much), anyone else in early pregnancy experienced this?

Could I be pregnant? Because I had sex on oct.19 and i missed my period for that month. but then i got it on nov.10 . It as a heavy flow. I had it for like 7 days. the reason i missed it could have been because i was really nervous and stressed. so could i be pregnant.

Me and a friend had sex on the 29th of October and she was on the 5th day of her period and she said she had it for 2 more days. I used a condom but when we were done there was some stuff on the couch. But were not sure if it was from her or me. The condom didn't break and all was well except for that.

Its now December 11th and she still hasn't had her period for over a month and 11 days. Were going to give it one more week then get a test.

But I'm wandering what the chances are that she is pregnant and what could be the reason she hasn't had her period if she isn't , Like stress or something. She said that she had thought she was pregnant once before and she didn't have her period for 2 months but then it finally came.

any advice is greatly welcomed!

Im having contractions but not regularly or strong....im dialated 5 cm..so i am in first stages of labor.I was told to drink raspberry tea by a friend....which isn't seeming to work....any suggestions for inducing labor?Serious answers only please.

Earlier I asked about taking Alka Seltzer while pregnant.. I looked online, and it said not to because it contains asprin and that is bad when pregnant, however I was just looking at the box, and the main ingredients in this are Acetaminophen, which is Tylenol, and I know that is safe, the other main ing. are Chlorpheniramine, and Phenylephrine. Does anyone know what those are???? Are they safe to take when pregnant???? Any Ideas??? Thanks!!!

I am five weeks pregnant (early days I know) and I have been spotting over the weekend. It only happens when im moving round if I keep still i lose nothing. I cant keep still all the time as i have a 2.5 year old little boy. Has this happened to you or can you give me any idea why this might be happening? x x x

I have been having some cramps and I should be 7 weeks pregnant going by my previous ultrasound on Nov. 24. I went to the ER last night and the doctors ran my hcg level and it came back at over 24,000. They did an exam and my cervix was closed. They did an ultrasound and all they saw was a sac, no baby.

This is the second time this has happened to me, but the thing I am concerned about is, I have been just spotting and passing slimy stringy clear stuff. Has this happened to anyone else? I see a doctor in the morning, but I can't sleep b/c I am cramping so bad. Does anyone think I will need a D&C?

Another ? is I had to have an emergency c-section 3 years ago b/c I never dialated, would this cause complications in me passing this sac?

I already have a baby of 1yr 6 months, i have a problem of not getting periods for months, i didnt know abt my first baby to, that i am pergnant.. but now i went to doctor b4 some days she did the check up and said i am not... and have me tablets to have my reqular period, but even after taking the tablets i hae not got my periods, I get tired very fast, feel sleepy and dont feel like eating much in the nights... and get irritated soon... i feel like i am pergnant... wht should i do? should i go to the doc. again and check, but i dont wnt to go ? How wil i come to know regarding this... pls help.....

Well i'm 18 years old,16 weeks pregnant and by the time i will have this baby i will be 19.I didn't exactly plan on getting pregnant but the only thing i really wanted to do with my life was just have a family.I live with my bf and finacally were ok to have a baby, but i do not have a job.I was just wondering anyones opnion have the ever been in this situation.Do you think i'm to young, maybe don't really know what i'm thinking,think im lazy cuz i dont want to work and have a family instead? about 3mths after my married, i missed my menses for nearly 2 mths. went to see doctor, but no chance of getting pregnant. ok, stop asking Am i pregnant, listen, to answer everyones question take a test, if it come out + your pregnant if it doesnt come positive the first few times try again in the next week.

there is always a chance of getting pregnant if you have had sex so either you are or you arnt.

i dont seem to be rude but everyone who ia asking these questions, well they all sound the same. ask your doc these questions, thats what they are there for.

and im sick of getting on here and answering these qusetions, i really do feel that im repeating myself and i think i speak for everyone.

My period is due in 3 days. Usually at this time I have cramps, sore breasts and pretty bad pms. I also usually have very little discharge.

This time I have no cramps, my boobs don't really hurt. I'm extremely wet. It's too late for me to be ovulating and the amount of vaginal discharge is so much I put on a pad. It's clear so I'm not thinking infection. I'm sooo tired. I seem really hungrey as well. Today I think I feel nausaus, but maybe that's just because I want to be pregnant.

My Fiance doesn't want to buy a test until after I'm late. So, do you think that these symptoms are enough to wonder if I'm pregnant?

i just went to the doctors and found out that im pregnant. i should be two months when i use to lie down mi stomach went compleatly flat now i have a little bump not noticable unless you are looking for it should i have a bump at only 2 months??

Well one day i was at my girlfriends house and we got cought up in the moment so we decided to have sex without a condom (i know i shouldn't have.) i pulled out a few second before i released anything and im not sure if she is pregnant. im 24 weeks pregnant....i always get these horrible pains right underneathe my waistline on he right side... when im sitting walking doing anything. They never go away. so someone said lay on your left side to get the baby to shift over, well i do that and he does but i still have the pains. Is there any other reason why i could have them

It is 10:45 where I live right now and early I'm sure I was having contraction not big ones but I had troubling standing up and sitting down. and the pain would last 30 seconds or so with each one. But this was a few hours ago and nothing much since then could have those been contractions or was it something different. I was due on December 5th. I'm hoping this is it, with my daughter I didn't feel my contractions till I was in full tilt labor.

Once upon a time, HPT's did not exist. (What people like us did in their spare time we may never know.)

To determine if a woman was pregnant, her urine was injected into a (female) rabbit. If the woman's urine contained hCG, the rabbit's ovaries would react by producing little pockets of blood. (These were harmless to the rabbit.)

Unfortunately, this was in the day before see-through rabbits, so the only way to see the ovaries was to kill the rabbit, cut her open, and peek inside. So, the rabbit actually died whether or not the woman was pregnant.

Somewhere along the line that little detail was lost, however, and "the rabbit died" became slang for "being pregnant."

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and every time I pee, I notice little clumps of a mucousy substance in the toilet. Honestly (not to be gross here) but it looks like snot. I'm not having contractions, the baby is 3cm dilated but my family has a history of delivering late. There isn't anything else going on that would give me any reason to be concerned. It's just a little gross.

Last time I went into labor, they had to break my water. I have a Dr. appointment on Wed. Should I call tomorrow morning anyway or is this fairly common?

P.S.- Thank GOD for anonymous question forums!!!!! LOL!

I went upstairs in the middle of the football game to grab a pantiliner. I figured, no big deal, probably just leaking a little bit because the baby is putting more pressure on my bladder. I am 35 weeks today according to ultrasound. When I went upstairs, I had a steady stream of clear liquid. I wiped, changed underwear, went to lay down in bed. I was shocked when I had another significant amount of fluid come out. I stood up and had this large gush of clear liquid. It continued to stream for about 10 minutes and I still have a little bit of fluid coming out. I have not been having contractions, but since the fluid came out, the baby has become significantly lower. Do you think that my water has broke even though I have no pain? What do I do if it has? This is my first and I am at a loss right now. Please help. Thank you.
