I want to have another baby but I am about 60lbs overweight. I am trying to lose some weight before it happens but if I dont I want to know from those with experience how hard or easy it is to control what you gain.

i am just wondering at how many weeks a baby can be born without having complications due to being premature.i am 27 weeks and with my last pregnancy i started having contractions at this point and was put on meds and bedrest which luckily made him stay put till his due date.i am just worried it will happen again and this time i wont be so lucky.

My boyfriend dumped me, used to beat me, scream abuse at me,smoke weed,and have sex with other women, he is 41 I am24,and tday I said enough was enough, I already have one son, but know I can not cope with another,I was on the pill and remained pregnant, I am about 2 weeks and want a termination, how do I feel,I know I can not give this baby the best right now, it would not be fair on him or her, to rely on the state, bring him up in circumstances which I know should a baby come along in a year would be different as i am aiming to do a legal practice course following my degree. Menatlly I am exhausted after the fighting and emotional battery.

I will be 12 weeks tomorrow and I am still have the occasinal lower abdominal cramps nothing horrible, just like dull mentrual cramps, but really painful just dull cramps. Did anyone else have these and how long should I expect to have these??

9 wks pregnant with #3 at 37 years old, and turned this test down with first two at 32 & 35 years. Had two healthy daughters, but because we want to know for sure if baby is a boy(shopping reasons-need everything if it is; nothing if it is a girl) and is healthy due to my "advanced maternal age" (!!!) am considering it for this one. Is the test painful? It seems very invasive to stick needle through the mother's stomach into the uterus, not to mention dangerous. For those ladies who have had it, would you do it again? Did anyone have a bad experience because of it? We will be faced with question to have this test or not in a couple weeks, and want some unbiased imput.

I am 18 weeks pregnant and having serious trouble sleeping. I am trying not to lay on my back at night, and trying even harder to lay on my left side...but I am not comfortable, no matter how I lay. My back hurts, I put heat on it, my legs hurt I do the same. Nothing is helping. I dont think I slept more than an hour last night, and have to be at work all day. Also...I am very weak and dragging! I am actually sore all over my body like I worked out really hard. Any suggestions??

The other morning I woke up &my breasts were HARD and swollen. This has never happened before. I mean I know what your think ooh her period is coming,I have two weeks till my period and i have gotten swollen breasts before but this time it is like 5 times that! I mean they even got a couple of pouds heavier...my boyfriend says they atleast gained a pound each OVERNIGHT! there is some discoloration around my aoreolas? i mean when i stand up without a bra it feels like i got bricks hanging from me cause they have gotten so heavy i just got back on the pill and i did a "quick start" the doctor showed me when to take one pills so you can start having unprotected sex in a week instead of a month...i didnt think it sounded right but i went ahead and did it ..i got my last period,shorter than usual....took a test this morning but it says negative...surely it is too early to get a pos one but i was just wondering if any of you women had these rock hard VERY HEAVY breasts when u first got preg

My sister is pregnant and she is making me feel responsible. She is 19 and she has 2 kids already. I am taking care of my nephew. I don't know what to do because she is putting this baby up for adoption and I can't even look at her now without crying because if I was her I would want to see the baby grow up. What should I do?

Ok last night i started getting pain in my pelvic area...it hurts when i stand up..when i get out of bed...and when the baby moves it feels like she is pushing on my cervix or something...i am 36.4 weeks...i lost my plug (w/ no blood) two weeks ago...have been having menstrual like cramping...and all types of other symtoms...Is this baby probably coming sooner then later? Does it sound like she has dropped alot? I had an appt weds. and i was justa fingertip dilated....but i have been cramping alot...so i think things may be changing!

I'm 37 weeks along and lost my mucus plug when I had my pelvic exam yesterday. My doctor told me I am 1 1/2 cm and 50% effaced. I'm defnitely ready to have the baby and unsure how much longer its going to take. Is there anything I can do to speed this along (I've been restriced from sex at this point also)

My wife is 31 weeks pregnant and she had a water like vaginal discharge it was clear, she called her doctor and they said it wasnt her water, she wasnt having any pain either, she is mad at me and wont tell me what happened, I begged her cause im really worried she just says the baby is fine and he wsnt I would go to the ER, I didnt do anything to her she has bad mood swings i understand and leave her alone so she doesnt get more upset but i want to know what was she leaking if it wasnt her water

I am 38 weeks pregnant. The other morning (1:00 a.m.) I took my usual trip to the restroom to pee. Mind you, I had been having contractions consistently for days. I returned to bed just in time for another contraction. As I was laying there, I felt wetness around my leg. I looked down to find my underwear soaked in a 4 inch diameter from front to back. I ran to the bathroom to check what had just gushed out of my body. It was not urine. It was odorless and colorless. I proceeded to believe I was leaking amniotic fluid. The next morning my contractions persisted so my husband and I went to the ER. They did a "Bromthymol" test in which the strip was negative for amniotic fluid. So, needless to say, I have not a clue as to what fluid came out of me. I have had increased vaginal discharge, but nothing like this. Any thoughts?

With my first 2, I was excited and felt fine. This is my third and I don't feel the same excitement. I wasn't ready for this or the last 2 either, but I just don't feel excited to have this baby. Has anyone experienced this after their 2nd or 3rd? Is this normal?

i just turned 20 and im almost desperate to have a baby, its kinda like this feeling that i should have a kid. i have no idea how to be a mom or how to take care of a child. I do have a boyfriend and we are very much in love and i know he is the one im gonna marry but why am i having these feelings? I am on seasonal and I always use a condom during sex. A little over a month ago, the condom broke and my boyfriend ejaculated inside me. I took EC. Yesterday morning, I started cramping and i had some slight spotting or bleeding. It looked like period blood. I took a hpt yesterday, but it was negative. Is there a possibility that i could I be pregnant? IM SCARED. PLEASE HELP!

I had my last period on the 9th of September after having stopped the contraceptive pill 2 days before it started. So I was due for my next one around the 2nd of October but I haven't had a period since! I have taken a few pregnancy tests and all have been negative. I figure it's either due to the pill (I have heard it can be delayed because of this)or I am in fact pregnant and the test was not accurate? My cousin said she took 6 tests before finding out she was pregnant with her daughter and she was on the pill! I would love to hear anyone's opinion on this. Thanks!
