They last clear through for some women. Eventually though most women trade those in for the burning, pulling, pinching, painful feeling of stretching round tendons.

Both are normal.

Personally I had those period like cramps until almost 14 weeks, and by 18 weeks my round tendons kicked in.

They should go away or lessen. Just take it easy right now if you continue having the pain and they are accompanied with pelvic area pressure or spotting make an appointment with you doctor immediately.

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE ROUND LIGMENT PAINS...THE LIGMENTS AND MUSCLES STRETCH WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT..I HAD THE SAME THING AND AT 1ST I WORRIED ABOUT IT EVERYTIME (CUZ THEY MAKE IT SOUND LIKE CRAMPING IN PREGNANCY IS ALWAYS BAD) IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY BLOOD WITH CRAMPS THEN I AM SURE IT IS JUST LIGMENTS STRETCHING AND MAKING ROOM FOR THAT LIL ONE...cONGRATS...
