Pregnancy - October 2006

A year ago I misscarried twins GS 12wks 3 days and 12wks 4 days, I do not have any children.
I had an ultra sound done at 8wks 4days, I'm now 10 weeks along and just saw my doc at 9 wks 4 days....when I went in for the ultra sound the lady doing it said heart rate is good and gest. size was same as LMP 8wks 4days, she told me everything appears fine.....when I just saw the doc he said there might be a problem from looking at ultrasound....not abnormally low amount of fluid but not as much as they like to see....
My friends mom is a nurse that takes care of premature babies and she told me that this is a common thing that happens in this time frame in pregnancy and not to worry but almost everything that I read relates to poor kidneys/lungs and basically pregnancy failure...I'm worried but want to know from expierance, can any of you give me some insight.....will things be ok or should I prepair for the worst again?

I am 30 weeks pregnant and experiencing almost exactly what I did when I was in my first trimester....morning sickness at varying degrees that comes and goes. I even feel it sometimes when she kicks too hard! Is this odd for the third trimester? I don't have any other health issues other than some lower back pain in what I think is my sciatica,and have had normal weight gain and good exercise/nutrition habits. Any ideas of what could be going on here?

i know that a womans diet changes during pregnancy due to the fact that she has a baby to nourish, im only a few weeks pregnant, but what are some healthy foods to eat? what certain food have more vitamins and what to stay out of. im not going to ask my doctor he'll probably give me some chart to follow my calories and fat intakes and what not, i want a healthy way

My bf and I haven't been super careful, but we've taken some precautions...I just wonder how it was that I didn't get pregnant. He doesn't waste, if you know what I mean. I've heard some women say it took them months, while others have had a slip one time and got preggers. Humm.

When my boyfriend and I have sex, I let him 'go' in me, because I want to have a baby. I am just over a month late for my period. My last period was Sept 3,2006. I have taken 2 pregnancy test since then and they both came back negative. I talked to a few different gyno's and they all said that it could be because my HCG level is low. But my stomach is starting to poke out a little as well as getting hard. I have almost all symptoms except for breat tenderness and vomiting, but my breast did hurt for a good few weeks before my last period, andmy last period though didn't feel like a normal period for me. So I have estimated from my last period how far along that I might be and I came to the number of 7 weeks. But I think that I might be farther along than that. Does anyone have any advice that might help me out?

I haven't really had cravings throughout my pregnancy, or felt that insatiable appetite that some women say they have. But, I've gained the appropriate amount of weight so far, just in the last couple of weeks my appetite's not very strong??? And don't feel like eating a lot at once? Anyone else experience this?

Hi all,

When did you, or are you, planning to buy things for baby? I am 16wks pregnant with my first baby and have already started buying (and receiving as gifts from family) things such as nappies/clothes/blankets/baby monitors/bouncer etc - some people are telling me i am starting way to early because something "could happen" and i would have all of this stuff for nothing.

The reason i started buying at this stage was because i worried alot in the first few months that something "would happen" so in order to make a conscious effort to have a "positive" attitude i started preparing myself with baby items.

Is it too soon? Or is it good to be thinking this positively? Thoughts anyone?

This may be a wierd question but please help! Ok, so April 21 I messed around with a guy but we didnt have sex (we both had been drinking) I wasnt ovulating and I started my period the next day. I took 2 urine tests at the doctor and a blood test. All were negative. I would be almost 27 weeks pregnant if I was pregnant. The reason I am worried is because my stomach looks as if it is getting bigger. I have been having normal periods and everything. Am I just gaining a little bit of weight or do you think I still could be pregnant?

my friend is due any day now. is there any way to speed things up a little bit? she went to the doctor last wednesday and her doctor said her cervix was softened and that she was dilated to a 2 and that if things go right she would have her in a day or 2 and it has been like 4 or 5 but ne ways we are trying to think of things that would help move things along. we are fully aware that she will come when she is ready but can we speed up the process, please?

nothing too common, but something unique. We named our daughter Ashlyn and her middle name is Madison. I think we want to do names with two first names for a girl, and something that can be used with initials for a boy. But any suggestions will help.

I posted this earlier and think it confused some people and I'll get a better response in the pregnancy section, Please help?
