I can relate with you on this pain. I had the same thing when I was pregnant and the doctors thought the whole time I had a kidney infection or stones. It was hurting on my lower right side on my abdomen. I finally complained enough they did an ultrasound right before I had my baby they said the pain came from gallstones which was really weird because it was hurting in my lower right side. Sure enough it was that. If your side hurts when you eat certain things and drink caffeine ask them for an ultrasound.

wait a minute. 37 w eeks pregnant. Nine months equals just about 36 weeks. Uh..... isn't that baby overdue and just about ready to enter the world? How can you NOT already be under the care of an obstetric physician? That being the case, why are you not already sitting in tht physician's office discussing this current matter? The doctor might suggest to you that perhaps junior wants out.

It could be a kidney infection, I'd get some Cranberry Juice (100%) and see if that helps for a few days, or to be safe check with your doctor, I had a friend who had to have her appendix removed while pregnant.

sounds like when I had a kidney stone when I was about 31 weeks. Man, did it hurt! And it made my right kidney stop working. I would have it checked out.

I know what you are talking about my first child had me thinking I was in labor for three weeks because she was so big there was no where else for her to go other then my ribs. You may just have a big baby. Call your doc if it hurts unbearably. That is why they are being paid so much is for there expertice.

Perhaps they are just Braxton Hicks contractions that are uneven. You should have a 24 hour phone number to call with questions like this. Don't be shy calling it, or the ER.

This happened to be, my baby was pushing up into my ribs and it hurt terribly. So your pain is most likely the baby pushing against something inside of you, but it wouldn't hurt to call your Dr. to see what he/she thinks. Good Luck and Congratulations.
