Pregnancy - October 2006

I am pretty sure I am 2 months +. I have all the symptoms, even a belly. However, many urine tests & 3 blood tests have come back neg. I've also had an ultrasound, which came back as "clear".
My Dr. has prescribed some medication to treat the "pain & bloating". The labels say not to take if pregnant.
What else can be done to confirm without a doubt? Has anyone ever been through the same thing?
How to be sure......

I feel terrible right now. I'm 20 weeks my baby is still alive but my body has begun labour. My waters broke yesterday. Baby is too young to be viable. Will die once he or she is born. There is nothing to do to stop this.

I'm feeling so terrible and guilty because I was so sick in my first trimester and there were times I wish the baby would die because I coudln't stand being sick anymore. Also 2 weeks ago I started bleeding and I was so scared (because I had already suffered three miscarriages in the last 2 years) and I took out all my fear and anger on the baby! I was so scared and I started putting up brick walls around me and didn't feel attached to the baby anymore and detached from it, and didn't care anymore, and now he or she is going to die. My body is killy my little baby who is innocent and defenseless,depended on me to keep it alive. Does the baby feel abandoned? Can it feel fear and pain and sadness? Is it possible that a 20 wk old can feel abandoned by it's mother?

This is my 3rd baby, and a BIG surprise. I have moved on past being incredibly angry and enraged, to being semi-excited. I know a lot of people go on and on and gush over pregnancy, but for me, I could do without it. I really wish the baby could truly pick you and be delivered by a stork in a blanket.

I pee every hour. I don't feel right. I have high blood pressure, so I'm automatically "high-risk" and have to endure the joy of being scared $hitless by doctors about the what if's and could be's, despite that I have never had any issues and my BP always normalized in all my pregnancies somewhere in the middle. Then, I hate women, so it sucks for me to have to be feeling ultra grumpy and have to sit in a room every two weeks with about 10-15 other hormonal women in the doctor's office and everyone acts like we are all best friends in a special club, chatting about cervicses, ultrasounds, and bottle or breastfeeding!!!

I know. I'm just a bad person. No one else probably feels it.

I just found out im pregnant!!!!! I took two dollar store tests and they were both positive so i took two first response tests and both were positive so i went in for a blood test and it was POSITIVE!!!! now what do i do? start prenatal vitamins and folic? Anything else i should be doing? And do those chinese gender things work?

I'm 20 weeks today. My waters broke and my OB says I will be in labour and give birth within the week. The baby cannot be saved. There is no amniotic fluid and the baby will not be viable until 26 weeks. Even if the baby miraculously kept living in there to 26 weeks, he or she would probably need to live in a bubble all his or her life, because there would be no lung development without amniotc fluid. This is what my DR says.

My question in order to try to prepare for this traumatic experience is the birth process: After I deliver this 20 week old baby, should I hold him or her and see if he or she was a boy or girl? Or will this hurt me more? Will I regret if I don't see him or her? My husband doeesn't want to, because he feels he's already distraught enough and thinks seeing the baby would do us in. Part of me wants to just deliver the baby and try to put it all behind me and never know anything about him or her but will I regret that the rest of my life? Please help if you can!

I can't keep any food down for the past 3-4 days. Also, I started BC (birth control) the same day I had sex. Is it possible to have signs/symptons this early? Otherwise could it just be side effects from the BC?

I'm currently on the pill but this month i have missed a few but taken them the day after.
Me and my boyfriend dont used anything as im on the pill and we have been in a strong relationship.
the last couple of days i have had a brownish creamy discharge, im due to come on my period on the 28th but i dont know if i should wait to see if i get a proper period or i should test asap??

i have always had an inner fear that i wont be able to breast feed. i am 26 weeks pregnant and all through my boobs have had sore days and tingling etc.. but they have not got an awful lot bigger, not like friends of mine seemed to.. am i worrying too early? it just some people have prem babies now.. what if i did? i dont seem to have milk now?? how does it work?
i am starting to develop the line up the belly today.. well pleased about that :) i think its well attractive :)

I had an ultrasound dune and deciede not to find out the sex, but when she was examining the legs apart, I swore I seen something there. I want to know if it could of been something else, like the umbilical cord or a hand! Did anyone else experience this before or know something about this?

Also, The baby has dilated kidneys and they are saying it is more common in boys! I already have 3 boys and would like to have a girl! thanks for your help!

I have no idea how to deal with feeling so insecure around my husband because I am pregnant... this is my second pregnancy and I NEVER felt this way the first time around.
I don't feel good enough... pretty enough... I'm in tears everytime I think my husband might think another woman is attractive. It is really quite ridiculous. I have never in my life felt so insecure... I realize that being pregnant is making me quite emotional, but this is making me insane... I am 32 weeks pregnant and want to love and embrace my changing body... but I find myself ashamed to even be naked in front of my husband.
Has anyone else felt this way?
How did you deal with it?
Please help me!!!!!!!!!

I am 5 weeks pregnant with my bi-racial baby. I'm not sure if having a bi-racial baby will put the baby in higher risk for complications. Is anyone educated on this?? Please explain. Thank you very much :)

I feel pregnant? so i went to the clintic and got urine tests? First one came out Positive they did another one thinking they messed up that one came out negative. I went two weeks later and they did another one and it came out negative. So i took a blood test, was it the right time to do a blood test. Can i still be pregnant since i had 2 negative tests? I have not reseved my blood results yet? Some one plese help???!!!!!!

I am 4.5 weeks pregnant, and I have some lower back aches (I dont usually get back aches) and I had very light spotting bleeding this morning. I had cramping the last few days prior to the spot bleeding this morning, but someone told me it could be my uterus expanding. I googled and read a articles about miscarriages, and they said that some women spot bleed during pregnancy. Cramping was a symptom and no mention of backache. Is this something I should worry about? Has someone else experienced this before?

I went for my first ultrasound today. Doctor estimated I was 5 wks, 5days, by using the first day of my last period. I used an ovulation kit that said I was ovulating on the 30th of September, so I either concieved two days before or the day of is what I'm guessing. So that would put me somewhere around only three and a half or 4 weeks right? My question is that when the Dr. did the ultrasound he found the sac with the fetal pole but wasn't able to find the fetal echo or pulse (I'm assuming that is the heartbeat and the right names for it) He told me not to worry that it's very early in the pregnancy and may be just to early to pick it up.I'm really freaking out though now becasue I already had one miscarriage that ended at 8 wks and I'm afraid this one will too. If anyone had this happen to them before, please write back and let me know if and when you finally were able to detect the heartbeat. Maybe it is too early to detect, but that still don't ease the mind of not really knowing.

I found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. 2 days ago I had cramping and I got scared, so I went to the emergency room. They did an ultra sound on me and said that everything looks normal, and there is a cyst on my ovary. They say this feeds the baby until the cord forms, but my sister who is a nurse says it's not called a cyst it's something else. SOMEONE help me!! :)

ok the first day of my last period was oct. 2 and i had unprotected sex on oct. 23. and it says i would have ovulated between 12-17 but now that i have had sex there is ALOT of clear/whiteish discharge.. that smells alitle funny lol! but b4 the unprotective sex i didnt have any! could this be a sign? or should i not worry. i also gave birth 4 months ago and i was also wondering if you are more likely to get pregnant the second time around and this soon after i gave birth please help!

Is it possible that a cold could be a symptom of pregnancy? Sore throat, coughing up flem/mucas (sorry to be graphic), achey and tired. AF is due this Saturday, however, had slight brown spotting off and on since last Sunday. Any thoughts?
