Wait until your actual period is missed. For the most accurate results from a home pregnancy test, wait 5 days after. To know earlier and for even higher accuracy, see your Dr. for a beta hcg blood test.

I think you can see by all the answers that everyone can have different first signs of pregnancy. Myself for the week before my period was due and a week or so after I felt fantastic, lots of energy, must have been the hormone surge but also had tender breasts. After that came nausea, fatigue and I became sensitive to certain smells. If you are worried about being on the pill when you could be pregnant I would suggest that as soon as you miss your period take the test as there can be a slight risk of miscarriage. If you feel better knowing now then I would just take the test because the stress can delay your period anyway.

I was pregnant (& had a miscarriage) in May...I had that same type of discharge the whole time I was pregnant. But, that break-through bleeding can also happen when you mess up on your birth control pills. So for your peace of mind, I would go ahead & take a test, & if it's negative, take another one after you are due to start your period, just to make sure.
Also, my very 1st symptoms were being extremely tired, extremely moody, & my breasts were very sore. My test came back positive right away.

I was on the pill with both of my pregnancies.
With my daughter I had the light brownish discharge the month before I found out I was pregnant.
I miscarried my 2nd pregnancy in May.
But I would wait until your period is a no-show.
Dont waste your money on the tests until then.
That can get expensive.

I think there is a good possibility you are pregnant. When the egg attaches to your uterus, you may sometimes get a brownish discharge. Sore breasts are one of the first indicators, as well. I believe home tests are available now that offer very early detection. If it's negative now, test again in a week or so --just to be sure. Also, women can have their period even if they are pregnant, especially early in the pregnancy. Good luck to you.

I would wait a few days. First sign is missed period. Then nausea and breast tenderness (for me anyway).
If you just can't stand it there are tests you can take before you actually miss your period. Even if you took the pill everyday you should still use codoms or something else.People get pregnant on the pill all the time. Good luck.

Well, we all miss a few pills everyonce in a while. It depends on what section of the birth control your on and how many pills you have missed. You can always read the package to help with any questions. As for taking a pregnancy test, if you have doubts it won' t hurt to be sure.

No wait to see if you come on. The test only pick up that you are pregnant when you are a day late with your period. Discharge has nothing to do with a sign of pregnancy. I think you are coming on.

Well, I not ever had "indicators" however I had signs that I did not even feel had been being pregnant comparable - sore breast and fatigue. That's simply PMS signs for me. But I took the scan besides, b/c I have abnormal durations (as soon as each four months) so my husband and I simply began checking out randomly each as soon as in awhile. This paticular time I used to be pregnant.

I had no symptoms either time I was pregnant nothing at all.....in fact I felt like I was getting my period.

If you aren't due until the 28th it may not so up today...even early results are only 69-80% accurate this early...you can try it...if it is positive it is correct, if it is negative, you still could be.
