Is it possible that a cold could be a symptom of pregnancy? Sore throat, coughing up flem/mucas (sorry to be graphic), achey and tired. AF is due this Saturday, however, had slight brown spotting off and on since last Sunday. Any thoughts?

In regards to the first post, I started to spot way before I got a cold. That just started overnight!

I really don't think that cold symptoms are also pregnancy symptoms. However, both of my pregnancies started out with a cold, and I assumed that I missed my period because I was so sick. I was so shocked when I found out that I was pregnant. All you can do is wait and see.

A pregnancy could suppress your immune system and make you more susceptible to a cold. It's probably not too early to take a First Response pregnancy test first thing tomorrow morning if you want to see if you might be pregnant.

You have a cold, and your body spotted. End of story. Sometimes colds are enough to cause you to skip, spot, shorten, lengthen, or otherwise have a weird period.

g'luck.

A cold is usually just a cold...

Wait to see if you're late and then try a urine test.
