when should i take a pregnancy test?

I was supposed to start the 20th. ive already taken 3 tests..all negitive.
did i just test too soon?
when should i take one?

wait another week maybe your hcg level is just low. or maybe your period is just late.

I' m in the same situation that you are. I was supose to start on the 15th and i keep gettin negative test. But yet stress and infection never throw y period off only pregnancy. The last time that I was pregnant I had a doctors office do a urine test at one week late and It came back negative, when I was actually pregnant. I read on 4women.gov that some womens embryos dont even implant until the day after the due date of your period. So I hope everything works out for ya.

I think the test now a days, work before you miss a period, read the box and see if the ones you took says that, I would say you don't have any thing to worry about

all of my preg tests did not show up til i was about 2 weeks late. but thats just me.
im playing the waiting game now too . good luck!
Oh and just to add, none of the test-before-your-period ones worked for me.

I have missed a whole period before while not being pregnant. Chances are if your period is that late and test is negative then you are not pregnant. Can't stop thinking about it? Go to your local walk in clinic and they will reassure you. GOOD LUCK!

Most likely the three tests you took were right and you are just stressed. stress can make your period come late, so just chill out and watch a movie.

You can take the test immediately after your "special period" is overdue. If you're not sure you can aks your doctor to do it for you.
