Ok so here is the lowdown...im married, 26yrs old, been trying to conceive for 6months now, for the first 5months we was trying everyday which i dont think did us any justice as i hear that takes about 24/48 hours for sperm count to shoot back up! Anyways so this month wanted to do things differently tried every other day if not every 2 days so it enabled the sperm to get stronger. Im very regular my cycle is like clockwork 27days every month i used to be on the pill over 2 yrs ago i stopped it so been clear for over 2 yrs now plus i wasnt on it for very long either. I cant wait to be a mummy i know i shouldnt stress but i get very excited :) ...anyways 1 week before im about to due started to have back pains and really light period pains in my lower stomach, i feel very bloated and feel sick at times, l should be getting my period on the 7th October in 3 days time....had sex lastnight and when i wiped was a light pink twinge just about noticed it, anybody else experiended this?

This is a serious question so no idiot answers please.
I have been pondering the whole labour pain thing. This is my first and im 7 weeks pregnant. In an ideal world i would like to have a water birth with no pain relief. I have seen many mixed comments about the pain of labour, some appear to have found it easier than others. I have had a miscarriage and the contractions i felt at this time I have been told are the same as labour. The only added pain when in childbirth would be the size of the baby coming out is obviously much larger then if u have a miscarriage, and therefore adds to the pain. When i had the miscarrage, it hurt like hell but i found myself dealing with it, almost seperating myself from it in my head, almost like a spiritual thing and got through it without painkillers. My question is to ladies who have experienced childbirth - am i right in making the assumption that actually giving birth is the same? I am very interested in hearing your opinion on this.
Thanks

I have heard that women under 5'4 will generally have more children than taller women, however taller women are more likely to have multiple births (twins, triplets...). Are there other physical signs of fertility? I also heard a small waist and large hips is a sign, but does it actually serve a biological purpose? For breasts, do larger breasts actually serve a biological purpose of being able to raise more children? Anything else?

They smoke whilst pregnant in the hope of having a smaller baby so the birth hurts them less. Can you honestly imagine anybody doing this?! This was on the news this morning so please don't tell me I am making it up! (Check the BBC news). I have never heard of this, have you?

I understand if you don't wish to discuss it-
I lost a baby at 39 weeks due to abruption
I can't forget it
Or get over it as people tell me to.
How have you dealt with it.

But what i think is, the baby is only 14 days old, as we had intercourse only on 20th sep. Dr. counts right after my period. But i think it's right to count only from the day we had sex.
Which one is right? Which is to be taken in to account for calculating the delivery date?
