i am contracting every 4 mins to 5 mins they are strong i went for an exam today and they said that i was fully effaced and 4 cm dilated i can't tell if this is the real thing or not...im haveing loose bowl movements too and this is very painful HELP!!!

Strong contractions every 4-5 minutes, loose stools and already 100% effaced and 4cm dilated - um YES, get thee to the L&D unit, I'd bet you've got that baby in your arms by midnight Wednesday night.

When the contractions are 2-3 mins apart you can actually say youre in labor. I think you should go ahead and go to the hospital. Good Luck and congratulatoins on your bundle of joy!

It sounds like it. Mine, I bought herb tea, because I thought it would calm my stomach down. It did for about 20 seconds. I started crawling around on the floor, the dog pushed his toys in my face, and all I could do was crawl. Almost had the baby at home. Take Care of YOURSELF, is anyone with YOU?
My husband started cleaning, and shaving at the wrong time!

Im not absolutly sure but well i wouldnt say so not if your waters haven broke yet anyway but to be on the sure sine i would phone ither midwife or ambulance just incase
