Honey, just call your doctor's office and tell them. Perhaps he will call in a prescription for something to lessen the severity of nausea and vomiting. Some women are more prone to nausea, especially during there first trimester. Most of this will pass naturally but you need hydration! Try sipping pedialyte, sprite or 7up, nondiet (you don't need aspartame and other additives). Most juices are very acidic so you may want to dillute them a bit if you are using them. Don't drink it quickly though or it may come back up.
Don't wait til Monday or you may need intervenous fluids. For the most part your baby will will obtain what he needs from you which means that leaves your body with less than you need. Excessive vomiting also damages your teeth badly. Don't skip a lot of meals. Even if they only stay down a short time, you need to absorb nutrients and calories. No caffiene though, it really makes your tummy rumbly. God bless you and your little one and good luck in your future.

I am a nursing student, however, I feel that you should call your doctor. Excessive vomiting can cause fluid and electrolyte imbalances that can (if not treated) cause problems for both you and your fetus. They may run some minor blood work to determine what your F&E's are like, and go from there. Have you tried eating such things as crackers? Also, a wonderful website that will show you many different things about pregnancy is www.medlineplus.com. You can also search such things as these wonderful little electrolytes I am talking about. Good luck, and call your OB/GYN today.

try plain yoghurt, have lots of fluids like fresh juices, water, milk etc. 75% women suffer from all day sickness (I dont call it morning sickness coz it happens any time of the day) and all you can do is keep relacing fluids that are lost in throwing up, about the nutrition, the doctor is truly the best person to decide whether this harms the baby or not, my doc was happy with me having fruit juices and yoghurt based smoothies. I had it between my 8th and 12th week.

Just make sure you keep your fluids up so you don't get dehydrated, try eating smaller meals or snacks. Keep soda crackers by your bed with a glass of water, when you wake up have a cracker and a sip of water. Some people do have hyperemesis (vomiting) during pregnancy (I did) there are medications that can help. Good luck, I hope you feel better!

Don't worry, at 11 weeks pregnant it is completely normal to have morning sickness. If you really want to be assured, call you doctors office and ask to speak with a nurse. Otherwise, I would say to just make sure that the food you ARE eating is very nutritious (ie no fast food or junk food) and to take in lots of liquids.

hiya hunni. i know how you are feeling coz this keeps happening to me. i was unable to keep any food down but could keep a little water ( ice cold ,small sips ) my husband phoned my GP coz he was worried bout me and the baby but we was told not to panic this can happen from time to time food is not the important thing fluids are.
I was told if it carried on id be admitted to hospital to be put on a fluid drip, as long as you can keep a small amount of fluid down you should be OK, if however it keeps up another day or so id phone your doctor or midwife for advice.
my sister had this while pregnant with her son ,she spend most of her pregnancy in hospital on a drip and finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 8lb 6 oz!!!!

Dehydration is an even bigger worry. But, don't just sit and wait for your doc appt call them and ask their opinion, whether you should be seen right away. If they don't respond at all, time to find a new doc.
