In the state of Michigan if you get pregnant and dont have any money the list goes on and on with the charities you will recieve. Health insurance that covers everything without a dime to pay for a copayment. Food stamps to pay for all the food. Wic to pay for all the formula and juice. Section 8 will pay your rent. Hud will buy you a brand new home. The state will pay for a new car. They will also pay $1200 to fix a car. They will pay for your gas. They will buy you clothes. They will give you carseats. The list goes on and on and on. How will they get people and teens especially to stop having kids if you live better once you have them. I work my butt off 40 + hours a week and my husband goes to college full time so we can have a good life. The girl I work with had 2 kids before 18 and is only 19 now lives 10 times better then I do. IN the city I live in we have more teen pregnany then any other city in MI and people wonder why! What can be done to stop this?

I HAVE AN OVARIAN CYST AND DID NOT TAKE A "BLOOD TEST" TO PROVE PREGNANCY ONLY A "PREGNANCY TEST" GIVEN BY MY DOCTOR. AT THE SONOGRAM THE TECHNICIAN ASKED WHO TOLD ME I WAS PREGNANT AND DID THEY DO A BLOOD TEST?(MORE ACCURATE)WHEN I ASKED HER HOW FAR ALONG I WAS SHE SAID IT'S TOO EARLY TO TELL I SHOULD BE ABOUT TWO MONTHS AND I HAVE THREE CHILDREN ALREADY SO I HAVE DONE SONOGRAMS AT THAT TIME BEFORE AND THE PREGNANCY WAS SEEN ONLY NOT THE SEX. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A LITTLE SUSPISCIOUS.

This is normal policy here but as it's my first pregnacy I want to make sure there aren't any signs to look for if there are any problems. I don't want to be completely neurotic and going to see my doctor every other day.

I'm not gaining hardly any weight, Im not sick, consitpated, moody, no sore or enlarged boobs, no food or smell adversions, morning sickness... nothing. Sounds silly, but I'm kinda worried! Is this lack of symptoms normal? (My new insurance policy wont kick in for another month, so I cant go to the doc unless of an emergency at the moment.)

heartburn,breast pain,cant sleep,tummy getting alittle bigger,peeing more,10 days late on my period.Also, sex feels extremely good to me now.

I never get heartburn only when I was pregnant before and not as often as I have had it lately. My breast rarely ever hurt when I start my period. I went to bed at 4 this morning and got up at 8:30 and feel fine. I haven't been drinking more, if anything alittle less. I have never been this late on my period without being pregnant. Sex was always better when I was preg before but this time it is like times 10. lol. Yesterday I started to have A LOT of discharge which I called the nurse about and she said was normal.

I have took 4 tests all of which are neg. With my 2nd child I knew I was pregnant before it came time for my period, I craved onions like crazy. It took 9 days late to show up with her.Never had that kind of discharge with the last pregnancies.


I just want to know what else could cause these symptoms other than pregnancy.

Is 17 wks too early to feel little tiny kicks from the outside? It's my 1st pregnancy and I've been feeling little thumpings evey so often throughout the day for a week or so. My tummy is just a little poochy, not showing really, and I'm thin to begin with. Could it be????!!!!!!!

I read something about lying on your left side and but I cannot remeber what it is. I still haven't broke my water but I had 4 contractions over the night that were like a bad menstrual cramp. The doctor on call, which is not my regular doctor, said to wait it out until my water breaks. I am extremely uncomfortable and I have thrown up twice since 5:30 am. I also don't feel very hungry, at least not yesterday and today. I did eat but really felt nauseated.

some of you might remember me in here before talking about my doctor tellin me i was not pregnant when my tests said i was so all in all i am actually pregnant with a healthy looking baby according to my local hospital.. i am 8 weeks gone and i am very annoyed at my doctor as for 8 weeks of my pregnancy i have not had any antenatal care what so ever and these are the most critcal times.. should i change my doctor because obviously if i havent had the care a should of had up to now.. what will the rest of the pregnancy be like while me and my baby is in his care

Me and my boyfriend we were jus having dry sex on July 10th..but then he took my pants off at the end n his...n a couple seconds later he busted but i dont know if he got any on me...we didnt have sexual intercourse cause i never let him stick it in....Most likely i doubt any got on me....so i shouldnt be pregnant....i took a preg test on friday....which came on negative that should be accurate right...? im just having doubts because my stomach is hurting every night pretty much but i think im gettin scared about this...

For women who have been pregnant:

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I've been experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions for some time now. When my uterus contracts, it is noticably not in the "center" of my abdomen. It leans to the right significantly. I asked my dr. about it, and he said, "The baby favors your right side. It's nothing to worry about." I trust him, but I want to know if anyone else has experienced this.

It really looks odd when it contracts, but looks normal when it's not contracted....it cracks my husband up because my "belly button isn't where it should be." LOL

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Is this "normal?"

I recently posted a question asking if I could get pregnant and many, many people told me I could. But seeing as they don't know me, or my body I didn't feel that they would really know that much to have something to say. So considering this I talked to my mom. She is very understanding and knows that I have had sex before. She told me there was no possible way I could become pregnant because we had unprotected sex a week after my period started and I've also been on the pill for a week. I was wondering if anybody else has a good relationship with their mother like this where you can tell them anything without being judged or critizised? Please don't repost telling me I have a bad mother because she let's me have sex at 16, she is the greatest mother anyone could ever ask for and works hard to give me everything I need. Thanks.
