Yes, in two weeks we find out if it is a boy or a girl. He swears it is a boy, which we both want...... but he wants to name him Duke. At first it aggrivated me everytime he even said it, but now I guess because he is always touching my tummy and asking how me and Duke are doing, it gets sweet! What do you think about that name. He thinks it is a leader masculine name. Thats why he likes it soooooo much! The first time I heard it, I thought about going potty......lol

I want to name my baby after my grandmother Eleanor, but don't like that name. I like Ellie and Ella, but can't decide which one is best. Ellie sounds nice for a baby, but if I name her Ella, we can still call her Ellie for a nickname, but she will have a second option when she grows up. What do you think?

Also, I'm having trouble thinking of a middle name. Her name will be Ella or Ellie Chen. All I can think of is Ellie Ann, but I don't like it. Any suggestions? :-)

I am going to name my baby girl Bailey. She will be born in late December. I had Bailey Grace chosen, but then thought of Bailey Noelle. So which one is better? If it helps, my other children are Sierra Joan and Cade Ryan.

My husband and I cannot agree on anything. Running out of ideas, Help! We like names that are not commonly used and are more modern than traditional. We do not know the sex so we need boy and girl names. I want to know the names you have heard and thought, "Wow, I really like that!" Middle names suggestions are also welcome. Thanks for your help!

One of my good friends is pregnant and wants to name the baby Andrew after her old boyfriend -- She loved him a lot, but they got in a fight and decided to take a break and make sure that they belonged together. In the meantime, he found someone else and she realized she wanted to be with him... and she was waiting patiently for his relationship to end so she would not be the cause of it. Well, in the meantime he died in an accident very suddenly and she was devastated.

It has been a couple of years and she is pregnant now. Would it be weird to name the baby after an old boyfriend (first and middle names)??? She is not currently with the baby's father either.

She asked me and I did not know what to tell her. I think it would be OK since she is not with the father either, but wouldn't it be weird explaining to the child when he was older???

Opinions please?
