I actually prefer Maggie as a first name (was your grandmother "Maggie" or "Margaret"? - I'm a genealogist and most people of that era didn't use "Maggie" as a given name, but as a nickname - just my two cents worth). I like the name "Sarah" with Margaret or Maggie, either as a first or a middle name. I also like "Susan" as a middle name with Margaret. For some nice older names, try a genealogy site - you just might revive a little-used name!
