While I was victim to that (I have since got it legally changed) and parents insisted on strange pronunciations that no one would even guess by looking at it, I do have to say that I like names that are non-traditional without crossing the border into child abuse, as it does give a sense of individuality.

Would you give your child a nontraditional name or stick to the safe mainstream?

- Out there
- Safe
- Wild
- Happy

I just want to compile a list of names; both boys and girls.

I am 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my third and last baby. This was definitely a surprise, but my husband and I are very happy about it. My best friend's brother passed away when she was six years old. He was 18. His name was Michael Wayne and also my grandfather's middle name was Wayne. My mom works with a lady whose 8 yr old grand daughter just passed away from leukemia on December 22. Madison was a beautiful little girl with a beautiful spirit and a beautiful name. I love the names. They are perfect and I would really like to honor the people. I have 2 daughters. They are 9 and 5 1/2. Their names are Taylor Meshelle and Makayla Anne. Any other suggestions for names are welcome and appreciated. We would really like a name that starts with an M. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this and thanks for answering.

Last name King.

85% chance for a girl!

Girl Name Chosen: Ivy Rose ...plus I think IRK as the initials will be funny. =D

In case it's a boy...Vincent Cain, Cane, Kain or Kane....but I hate that middle name..Any suggestions for a different middle name? It just didn't seem to flow..

Thank you!

So my boyfriend and I have been dating for about 10 months. Go-figure though, that we are nine months pregnant. We are in love, and we live together. My main question though is what last name should I give our baby boy...the fathers or mine? Here's why I even question it...
My boyfriend hasn't paid for anything yet...and i literally mean nothing. I have purchased at least two thousand dollars in baby stuff...and he hasnt even given me a penny. He refuses to attend Lamaze classes with me or attends any doctor appointment, and never helps around the house. I work full time, on my feet for eight hours a day(I am nine months pregnant), and he doesnt have a job, and doesnt ever look for one. He hasnt ever paid any rent, utilities, groceries, etc. I no...i sould leave this guy and find someone new...but the truth is this question isn't about me and him...its about the baby's benefit. Should our son have his paternal last name, maternal last name, or both?
