I really like the names Cora and Calla, but girls that I went to school have named their daughters that, so I don't want to use them. What are some other short, unique, feminine names?

We have a first and middle name picked for a boy, but can't choose a girl's name. My husband likes Reese (not because of Witherspoon, he saw it in a baby name book.) It is growing on me, but I can't seem to think of a middle name that sounds good. I like Jillian, but he hates it. Any suggestions?

A friend of mine recently named her child Nathan. Nothing wrong with that, it's a great name. The problem is that she "never would have thought of that name" were it not for me mentioning that I had planned to give it to one of the children I would eventually like to have.

Has this happened to anyone else and were you as annoyed as I am?
