I love it! But...as someone who has a name that is frequently used as a nick name for longer similar names, I'd recommend you write either Andrea or Alexandrea, or something else that has the "Andee" sound in it so when someone asks her real name, she doesn't have to act like she doesn't hear that question all the time and answer the same as she told them the first time.

Its cute but it should be a nickname. Cute names are really great for kids, not too great for adults. Can you imagine her trying to be a lawyer, a doctor, a judge, etc. and be taken seriously? Please note, I'm not being insulting - its just that people with "unusual" names do more poorly as adults in professional - level careers then people with traditional names.
Andrea would be a good alternative; call her Andee as a nickname. As an adult, she can choose which one she wants to go by.

No, sorry I really don't care for the name Andee of any spelling. No guarantee she's going to grow up to look like Kate Hudson unfortunately.

It's cute. I new a girl named Andrea but everyone called her Andy. I actually prefer Andy for a girl than a boy.

I don't care for it but if you like it then use it. Can you picture your daughter 20-40 yrs down the road in a professional career with that name and spelling? You can always use it as a nickname if you want.
