My wife and I are expecting and we like a name, but have a question. Is Kensley a boy or girl's name. What do you think of it? Thanks.

Does anyone have a good definition of the meaning of this name. Its my sons name and I believe it means Isaiah but one website said there is no history of it meaning Isaiah and another said it was a form of Isaiah in the middle ages

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE QUESTION BEFORE ANSWERING

My cousin is having a baby girl. On my mother's side of the family, all the relatives suggest ONE name each for the baby. The mother-to-be arranges them into first/middle name combinations, and when the baby is born, the father chooses the one that fits the baby best.

I know that's not the way it's normally done, but it's a tradition and we usually end up with good names.

So this is what I need. Your ONE all-time favorite girls' name. No middle name to go with it. ONE. I've already suggested all my favorites for this family name game, and since we can only suggest a name once, I'm out. Please tell me what your ONE favorite name is, besides the ones I rule out. I'll choose the one I like best and suggest it for this baby.

These names are off-limits, since they've already been used in this baby's generation.

CECILY
ANN(E)
MEGAN
FAITH
TAWNY
AMAYA

Thanks.

Remember, your ONE favorite name, as long as it's not listed above.

I've heard lots of different explanations but it would be nice to know exactly what it means? Is it common in a different culture?

I read it and I've always liked it, I want to name my baby girl that way, I just don't know how to pronounce it. Every time I hear it they pronounce it different. How does it sound better, or just how do you pronounce it?

Names that may seem cute or trendy now may not be so cute or trendy 20, 30, or 40 years from now. Furtermore, studies have shown that certain names on resumes are more likely to get someone a job iterview than other names.

I like the multigenderal names, like Taylor, Erin, etc. Also give me lists of female/male names. We have 1 son and 2 girls now. Names taken are:
Blaine (HUBBY)
Olivia (me)
James (son)
Emma (daughter)
Madison(Daughter)
Middle names aswell if desired. James and Blaine don't have middle names. But Emma's middle name is Gweneviere and Madison's is Hanna. Mine is Erin.
