Names that may seem cute or trendy now may not be so cute or trendy 20, 30, or 40 years from now. Furtermore, studies have shown that certain names on resumes are more likely to get someone a job iterview than other names.

I agree that some names are ridiculous- but really, who are we to judge. A name I may find ridiculous, you may not. A name is just a name, it's what is behind the name.

You speak the truth and I am not only talking about job interviews so for that reason a lot of people adopt nicknames.

That is not quite true. I know several people who have had their names legally changed.

People can and do change their names and their are also nicknames people adopt.

i agree thats why its good to stick with biblical names.
in any case whatever name you have it ends up fitting you perfectly!
