My daughters have pretty common nicknames. My oldest daughters name is Joelle and we call her Joey or JayLo (she has the Jay Lo bootie!) Addisyn in my middle girl and somehow she got the nickname Peanut. My son's name is Traven.... and he got the nickname of monster... for reasons that are very obvious now!!!

I have no idea where it came from but, we started calling my daughter Little Bug. Her name is Elaina. It grew into Laina Bug. She's 23 now and her brother and grandparents still call her Laina Bug.

When my daughter was born she was very hairy and her arms were really long, so we called her Monkey and as se got older she got attached to Curious George so the name stuck.
