For example, I have probably met 20 Amber's in my life....and can't say that I've had a positive experience with a single one of them....I just in general have bad luck with anyone named Amber! Its about the same for girls named Brittany-not nearly as bad tho! I haven't had much luck with boys named Josh as well.

I don't mean that offensively if those are any of your names, odds are I haven't met you so you could possibly break the cycle!

Do you have any names that you can't think of many nice people who have that name? Just wondering!

I was in love with the name Audrey, but once my daughter was born, it just wasn't the name for her, she was an Eva and now the name suits her perfectly.

When I came up with the name Gracelynn I absolutely loved it. After getting some input I havent completely changed my mind about it, but I've thought of some others. And no I'm not an elvis fan... haha

I am seeing several answers on here, including someone who gave a very rude answer on one of my questions about the name of my daughter. They are apparently not understanding why people are using 2 names and have never heard of a middle names before. Its been common for years, so I dont know where they are from, but just so that they know, MIddle or 2 names are given to a baby for many reasons. The middle name is normally not used, but its nice to have. For example if you name your daughter Jennifer Anne, then that doesnt mean you are going to call her Jennifer Anne. You will just call her Jennifer. Its nice to be able to give your child a name of a relative and another name with some other meaning to you also. I was told the "double name" I chose was good for a dog or a cat..lol, I mean come on..The names that I had chosen were brooke, Madelyn, rose, etc...I dont think those are dog names. I was told to think a little. Maybe one of those is my moms name.

My husband and I are on a roll with names that start with "BR"
Our daughters name is Brianna and our sons name is Brayden, and I'm pregnant again we are unsure of the sex of the baby at this point so we are picking out names for both we can't seem to agree on a name for our boy though. We have agreed on Brooklyn for the next girl but the boys name has us butting heads
He would like to name the boy Brice or Bryce (just different spellings)
I would like to name him Brannigan or Brennigan
