i think you should go to one of those gun practicing places they will teach you alot there, how to handel and use one because it is good to know

In what way? Target shooting, hunting or self defense? Pistol or rifle? If you are talking about a pistol for self protection and do not know anything about them you need to learn before you even consider actually using them. Take some Gun safety and use classes to determine the type and caliber best for you. If you ever have to use it to defend yourself you cannot hesitate even for a few seconds. No warnings..."I have a gun" kind of thing. If you are in danger get it, point it and shoot it immediately, and keep shooting. Do not allow anyone time to disarm you by trying to be "Nice" and telling them what you will do if they don't leave you alone. Shoot them!

This is a good thing to know, so please go to a firing range and ask for someone who can teach you about safety and accuracy. And then practice! Be comfortable with your weapon because if the time comes that you need it in an emergency, the last thing you need to worry about is being nervous with your gun. And ALWAYS remember this - if you point it at someone, DO NOT HESITATE, pull the trigger. If you hesitate, you become the victim.

You really really need an experienced person to teach you!!!!
It shouldn't be hard to find someone. Ask some of your friends or a local gun club. This is good knowledge to have but please do NOT short change the training. You want to do this safely.

1) You get a brain
2) You get a gun
3) You take a lesson in how to use it
4) You learn what section to put this "question" in
5) Seriously, you never pick up a gun. You cannot handle it.
