Ruby is good for a red hair child and emerald is good for a green eye girl. Diamond means tough, precious and hard to find. Pearl is unique and rare but beautiful to hold. Jade is soild and saphfire is a kinda blue like the ocean. A name with a mean that relaxes and everyone will remember should be prescious. My name is Jheri. Like the curl. But everyone can't forget my name because it sticks to their mind. Which is a good thing. I like my name. its sweet and rare.

Hello ratia dear okhi, and welcome back :) We are all born in a state of fitrah ( فطرة ), i.e. purity or natural disposition (prophet Muhammad salallahu 'alayhi wa salaam). At birth our heart is 'a precious uncut jewel devoid of any form of carving, which will accept being cut into any shape, and will be disposed according to the guidance it received from others....." (abu hamid, al-ghazali)¹. Yes this jewel would be polished by a good upbringing and other fortunate life circumstances....i.e. a blessing from the Lord of All the Worlds. But sometimes it seems the jewel gets much sullied and tarnished during the cutting and shaping alone. A head-strong 'tarnishing' nafs (ego) is certainly a problem for all concerned with discipline. As tarnished and sullied adults we may need more self-discipline than ever because the nafs may have grown fat. God help us all insha'Allah ameen. "If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?" (jalaluddin rumi) “There is a polish for everything that taketh away rust; and the polish for the heart is the remembrance of God." (prophet Muhammad salallahu 'alayhi wa salaam) [Al-Qur'an Ar-Rad 13:28] ¹ "Disciplining the Soul, Refining the Character, and Curing the Sickness of the Heart: Breaking the Two Desires" by imam ghazali", translated by t j winter. ...this book i am currently reading :) For anyone interested insha'Allah...you can find it online if you run a search and would like to read it. :) Salaams to all..

I would go with Ruby (my oldest daughter's name!), Opal and Jade. They all sound beautiful and are also not too common either!

Amethyst, Crystal, Diamond, i know Pearl isn't a stone but a nice name. I like Immaculate though it is an adjective and not a stone.
