I have asked why a 14 year old should be given a cell phone. These are the answers I'm hearing:

1. In case they are kidnapped: why is a 14-year-old anywhere alone to get kidnapped? If they go from school to the bus to home, or to school activities with a teacher present, or to a friend's house with a responsible adult present, when are they alone??

2. They should have to pay for it: Where is a 14 year old CHILD getting $50 a month? She sure isn't working a job, because I never have known a 14yo who could work a job and still bring home A's.

3. In case their car breaks down: A 14yo has a car??

4. Get them their own phone line at home instead: Um. No. Children don't have phones.

ok well this is so friken stupid i feel like crying.

well i babysit my little brother everyy single day after school for no money at all.

and right now..my brother is telling my dad that i hit him on his bad sholder[cuase its sorta broken]

and i SWEAR TO GOD I did NOT hit him on his shoulder!!

i didnt even hit him at all
only on his hand cuase he did something really bad but not hard.

I seriously do. I am sad all the time. I can't bear to put on a happy face anymore when the truth is I'm dying inside in a way. I know people have worse problems then me but I feel terrible. My mom and I always fight. Some girls are really mean to me at school. I am doing badly in English. My boyfriend started doing drugs agian and he doesn't even care how I feel about it. We go for a long time with out talking. ( we live in different but close towns). I'm sick of having my heart torn out just to happen agian. I have four sisters and am constantly compared to them all the time. Im sick of it. I hate my body too. I want the old me back the one who used to be strong and independant.What do I do?

I asked why 14 year old kids think they need cell phones. I had a lot of people respond that the kids need to be able to get in touch with their parents. Where are these kids that they need a cell phone!!

At school: there are pay phones plus a phone in the office.
After school activities: same
A friends house: there is a phone
Mall: phones.

Why aren't we buying them $5 phone cards instead??

And where is a 14-year-old going without a responsible adult?

I think if we were watching our kids like we should they wouldn't need phones.

A few days ago I asked this question...

Did I just have my first period?
Yesterday I used the bathroom(peed) and I saw blood in the toilet. Then I went to the bathroom and it didn't look like the first time. Also three days before that I had brown stuff in my underwear (not poopy :)) Between the day I had brown stuff and the day I saw blood nothing happened. Nothing happened today either! Im 13
Actually I saw something that looked like blood.
I don't know if it was actual blood...

AND NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER THAT!

I wore a pantiliner after that and nothing showed up in it.

Do you think it really was my period?

so today something embarassing happened to me and like 3 people kept on laughing and taunting me about it .
how do i live it down? move on? accept it?
it hurt so bad and when i came home today i wanted to kill myself but i just gotta find a way to survive this. what should i do?

I am not very close with my father, but after my 1st child I thought i'd give it a try, so I made the iniative and called and even visited.
He is still the same ol Jerk as always, just I think he tries more.

Well He drinks alot, and I just told him I was pregnant with his 2nd grandchild (btw im 26 and married) and his response was"you havent figured out what causes that yet" "if you keep your legs closed this wont happen" I told him Im done talking with you and told him to put my step mom back on the phone, she has had it with him too...

Do you think I should quit trying, I mean, hes a drunk and hes mean! I dont want my kids around this kind of thing. and why should we have to deal with this?
