Yes!! I'd take a test right away. Then I'd head down the nearest clinic to get on birth control.

Shorty's Answer: take a home preg test. If it comes out positive talk to your partner and see what you guys want to do. You can also go to the clinic.

A few years ago I would have taken a test asap. The early detection one. But, now I have 2 children, been married 5 years, so I would just sit back and wait!

It is best to wait to see if your period starts because even the tests that claim to be able to tell you up to 5 days before your period starts can give you a false negative.

I would just wait until my expected period day. If you take it too early it might not show up. You can wait!
