When my boys of 6 and 8 started public school......and at the same time started playing with the neighbors older son (who is a very nice kid, but using the language that a 12 year old uses)......my kids started to think it was so amusing to start using bad words. They constantly are "slipping" and it infuriates me!!! I've tried punishment, I've tried calm explanation of how it makes you sound "not smart" and trashy, how it's not funny. But it's like Pandora's box has been opened and that's it. They are so young to be using these words!!! What do I do?

Real advice from parents please.

Do any of you remember when they taught you in Sex Ed?
Did they talk about STD's and pregnancy? What to do in serious situation like if you got pregnant or got an std? Do they teach you about the emotional side effects and such?
Just wondering, I took it a long time ago, i don't remember!

The parents of these teens need to be sitting down and talking with their children so they do not come online asking questions about sex and adult things from total strangers. It is getting way out of hand which is causing too many teen pregnancies. The boys need to keep it in their pants and the girls need to keep their legs closed.

For those teens who have had more than one baby, apparently you did not learn from the first baby.

Kids these days are just in too much of a hurry to grow up. They are quick to do ADULT things but when faced with being pregnant they get scared. Well apparently you were not too scared to lay down and do the deed.

I advise all of you teens out there who are thinking of engaging in adult acts to sit down with your parents because it is not right at all, kids do not need to be engaging in adult activities. You need to keep your head in those books.

The teen girls need to keep their legs closed till they are married JMO.

My birthday hasn't always been so fun. So my sister decided that since I am turning a teen soon that I should have my own party. What should I do though. I've never had a party before. And I know it's summer and all but i live Wichita, Kansas. I'm learning that there isn't much to do in Kansas. I'm not really into swimming so not a swimming party. Plus all my friends have already had swimming parties. I want it to be original. This is my last year in Kansas (thank you, Lord) so I want people to remember me. my boyfriend and i were fooling around and we weren't naked or anything but he ejaculated a couple of times after handjobs and oral sex. just sometimes my jeans were pulled down a bit but i still had my underwear on. sometimes he would rub my vagina but over my underwear. this happened around may 20th i think. and then i had my period on june 6th. now it's july and im really nervous because i haven't had my period yet. it's still the end of the first week of july(which is usually when i have my period) so should i just keep waiting for it to come? we also haven't been fooling around since that day. could i be pregnant or am i just overreacting? thanks everyone!

To what is the extent of a preg womens irrationality or emotional feelings. Are her emotions blown way out of proportions, is there always tears, and is it normal to feel that you have no allies. I feel like my man is not here emotionally enough for me, is this a normal sign in preg? i never felt like this before. I love dogs and everytime i see one i get all mushy and emotional and cry, is that normal?

she is actually almost 4 and I have been trying to teach her the alphabet and how to count for like ever, she gets plenty of attention and love and it isn't that we aren't teaching her anything it just seems like she can't grasp it, does anyone know how I can teach her better or maybe a web site that can help me, even an online alphabet game that might hold her attention better than boring old mom?
