Yes, haven't gone through it but seen enough of them in my church! Trust me, you hormones are on a emotional roller coaster. You will be feeling like this for a while.

If you have ever seen the Cosby show. There is an episode where a whole bunch of women who are pregnant are in a class with Cosby as the teacher. They all tell about dreams that they have where their husbands getlike squashed or they fall out of a building or something. So there you go.

some women get it and some don't. Each pregnancy is different so while one woman feels in all trimesters, some only feel it in the 1st or 3rd. Some are just blissfull the whole time while others are a 24/7 PMS case. It varies per person.

As for your guy not being there emotionally, most men cannot relate because they don't feel the physical changes. My husband treated me like normal until we went for our first ultrasound and he saw the heart beat. By our second ultrasound where he could see the facial structure, hands and feet, he was in awe... giddy like a school girl.

Anything can trigger emotional outbursts from anger, to sadness, to joy, to giggles. It doesn't have to make sense and no one else may understand it. Just roll with it. It will get better about 2 months after you have the baby and things start to settle down and get back to "normal".

The first and third trimesters are the hormonal trimesters. All that you're feeling is normal. After the baby is born, you'll also experience some emotional times as well. You can't control it, but you can deal with it. Just find what works for you.
