And yes I know Turkey is not in the middle east. Maybe these guys can show those muslim conservatives over there some common sense.

ISTANBUL, Turkey --Some 700,000 Turks waving the red national flag flooded central Istanbul on Sunday to demand the resignation of the government, saying the Islamic roots of Turkey's leaders threatened to destroy the country's modern foundations.

"They want to drag Turkey to the dark ages," said 63-year-old Ahmet Yurdakul, a retired government employee who attended the protest.

Sunday's crowd chanted that the presidential palace was "closed to imams."

In the 1920s, with the Ottoman Empire in ruins, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk imposed Western laws, replaced Arabic script with the Latin alphabet, banned Islamic dress and granted women the right to vote.

pro responsible gun regulation
against the war
immigration not a big issue in my State
pro reasonable business regulation
want better cheaper education and healthcare for all so people dont have to be in debt for getting an education or bankrupted for getting sick

That's what the islamic fundamentalists in the middle east stand for.

Iranian Navy is now to be controlled by the Iranian Republican Guard.With our stance on free and unhindered access to the seas,if the Iranian Navy chooses to "flex their muscles" should we respond as we did during the Iran/Iraq war and obliterate their navy?

I think its the real estate tax. I cannot think of one that actually causes the most grief to citizens. can you envision all those old people on fixed incomes paying thousands of dollars in tax just because they own a house? I mean if your house is worth $200,000 for example, and its been your home for 30 years, and your tax is $5000 a year, but your household fixed income is like $30,000 total, which is supposed from which you pay a mortgage, buy food, pay for medicine and all your other expenses.

Remember the teddy bear lady? She named a toy bear Muhammad after a child in the class she taught. This insulted the islamic people and they gave her 15 days in jail which is rediciouls to began with. Now the muslims are rioting and want the lady executed

.....that the Civil Rights act of 1964 was authored by President Eisenhower, a conservative Republican, and when it was submitted to Congress it was strongly opposed by most Democrat Congressmen.

..... that ever since those bills passed the Democrats have been claiming credit for them, even though they neither authored the bills, and most of them originally opposed their passage.

He is completely whacked. I get a kick out of watching because he is not even remotely presidential material, plus his wife is pretty hot. If I were not running for president myself then I would vote for him just for that.
