Man you people on here are dumb... the question was hypothetical either Obama or Hillary... Lieberman wasn't an option. I would have to go with Obama... Clintons had their chance and squandered it away.

Joe Liebermann, until he was forced out of his own party would have ben my democrat choice.
Bill Richardson would come before either of them.
If it was between those two, I'd have to hold my nose and vote Obama. I believe his social and economic policies will result in an economic disaster that leaves most people with worse health care than they have now, but his integrity seems intact compared to Hillary's very checkered past. (Travel Gate, huge donations from non-existant Chinese bus boys, makes up lies on the spot to try to connect with audiences (I've always been a Yankees fan, Chelsea was in New York on 9-11), the felonius Mr. Hsu donating large amounts of cash to her campaigns, the pardons for Puerto Rican terrorists by Bill while she was running for the Senate, etc...)

Why in the world would anybody be "forced" to vote for a democrat? On second thought, I could imagine such a scenario. Look back 20 years to the situation in the USSR, when there was only one party, or to the Philippines in the 60s, when sixty three of those who voted for Marcos' opponant were taken outside and executed on the spot by Ferdinand's goons. Ferdinand won, by the way. Word spread quickly and millions decided that he wasn't such a bad "choice" after all.
