Isn't any insurance better than no insurance?

Insurance is the word I disagree with...

HMO's are a false pretense.... they don't cover anything that you are likely to die from.... not really.

And yes, I support Hillary's plan.

I cannot afford healthcare and I refuse to get on welfare.

People say "get a better job" but where is this miracle job? Are you going to hire me at $30 an hour?

If I didn't have healthcare, then I would strive my hardest to find gainful employment which provides healthcare... Welfare is meant to be a cushion of sorts, to assist you back on your feet, not a lifestyle...

I disagree with "you" paying for "my" health insurance... There's NO pride in letting others pave the way...

Yes. If I didn't have health insurance, it would be because I couldn't afford it. If I can't afford it, then I dont' want her MAKING me buy something I can't afford.

Forgive me for not being willing to trade my freedom for a handout.

Have you notices that while she says "people will be able to afford it, because we'll make sure it's no more than a percentage of their income" but doesn't say what that percentage is?

Why doesn't she give the number? If it's 70%, its meaningless. If it's 50%, it's meaningless. If it's 5%, insurance companies will simply refuse to go into that coverage providing (or go bankrupt)

I have insurance and still agree with her. Here is the problem I have. Her healthcare ideas lack prevention. First move towards good health is diet and exercise. Also she is backed by the pharmaceuticals. They don't give a damn about our health only their profits.

I don't have health insurance, and I want nothing to do with Hillary's plan because the government couldn't even manage Medicaid or Social Security without bankrupting both.

The fact that I don't have insurance is my fault, and nobody else's.

Hah. How do you give that a thumbs down? Is it someone else's fault that I don't have health insurance? Hilarious.

I do like the idea of a NON-profit driven universal healthcare system, but I am totally against making the purchase of profit driven health insurance, mandatory. *sm*

It isn't about having or not having health care insurance. It is about socialism versus capitalism. Does one American have the right to the property (money in this case via taxes) of another American to get what they want.

I say no to government control of my life.. We are a country that believes in freedom, with freedom comes responsibility for oneself.

Yes I disagree and still would. It's not about healthcare it's about someone forcing someone else to pay for it.
