Nothing.. .. . .. .Nothing at all.... . . I won't claim voter fraud, I won't blame the ballots, the voting booths, the leaders of the democratic party, the weather, and I won't blame it all on some WILD conspiracy theory.

What would you blame it on if your party lost?

Bernard Sanders is a self-proclaimed socialist running for senate in Vermont.

http://www.answers.com/topic/bernard-sanders

Answers says....
He is the only independent member of the House, and is one of very few self-described democratic socialists elected to federal office in the United States in recent times. Sanders is currently serving his eighth two-year term, and is giving up his House seat to pursue the open Senate seat to be vacated by the retiring Jim Jeffords in the 2006 Senate election in Vermont.

Socialism is an ECONOMIC term. It is the CONTROL of the means of production by government. Most socialist societies say they promote the good of the society over the good of the individual.

But when you lose individual rights, you lose ALL rights. You become nothing more than a number whos purpose is to satisfy the needs of the state. Does Vermont really support this?
