Because this is one of Bush's antics for the mid-term elections. After the elections are over, Saddam will win his appeal. Just wait and watch!

There is an appeals process that is done. But once final ruling is made, in January probably then is is law that execution must be done within 30 days so that would be February.

They're saying in the Spring.
But I've also heard "after the appeals process," which by Iraqi law can't take longer than 2 months.

Regardless of all the answers,it will be sometime next year or the year after "IF" it happens at all...........They will have this on TV as long as they can,it will be appeal after appeal,just wait and see.

He has 30 days in which to appeal his conviction so, if that does not go through, as I understand it, it will happen shortly after that time.

They say it could take up to 5 months... In the meantime, he is being prosecuted for the other crimes commited.
