If the Republicans left who would fight your wars and pay your taxes?

No. They have the executive and the supreme court. Also they have it good in good old USA where millions are being made with minimal taxes. They'd still make those millions but perhaps now would have to pay commensurate taxes, if the loopholes, shelters, and exemptions are taken away or reduced. They won't like that because nobody likes paying taxes, but they'll stay because they'd hate even more the idea of losing the millions they are accustomed to.

No - It is a midterm election, and in two years things probably won't be any better and the US public will probably rebel against the incumbant party again.

Most Republicans I know are pretty pragmatic and take a much longer term view of things- always thinking several moves ahead.

Actually, aside from Iraq, the country and economy has been doing pretty well in a big picture. It just suffers from a bad mood.

don't celebrate just yet. there is still work to be done to get this nation back to its former splendor.

We need to start a program to pay back the national debt. because a good amunt of the tax you pay now goes to pay interest on that Debt.

We need to reinstitute the geneva convention. and repeal the Patriot acts.

We need to join kioto, the anti-globlal warming thing and get off oil.

We need to join the International criminal court and have bush and chany tried for a war of aggression and crimes against humanity for the tourture stuff.

We need to close the boarder and help our schools and roads and our enviroment.

There is much to be done.

Does it matter. Both Republicans and Democrats are merging. those late night cocaine induced sex parties in Washington DC is really getting past the bi-partisan differences.

I say we should all move out of the country, give it back to the native Americans and let them vote on who they want to come to America. If not that then the Republicans should do the right thing, Cut and Run.

I certainley hope so! America needs to start over and try and forget the travesties that Bush and his followers have caused.
This Year goes to the Dems, the ones who deserve it!

I just can't wait until 2008 when a Democrat is elected as president!

You are so ignorant. You dont have a clue. If the Dems win, you are going to see such a decline in this country. The only good that will come from it is that we will see the Dems how they truly are. They cant run anything, they have no plans, no answers. Only complaints and hate. Our economy right now is doing well, expect that to change if Dems get power. Taxes will be going up for sure. Just wait and see then youll eat your words. We will have very dark days ahead in our country if the Dems take the House and Senate.

Unlike the conservative world, there is room in a liberal world for conservatives. Bush and the Junta need some prison time though. Do you think Bush could manage counting the number of times his cellmate rapes him?

No we will just lay your @sses off and cut your benefits. Down size our businesses before our tax hike. But don't worry the Democrats will give you new benefits that all "the rich" people can pay for!

No we aren't gonna move, not really we may joke about it though, and lay off by the way. I personally don't think the Republican majority went so bad compared to the Clinton administrations time, but then again I don't always watch CNN.
