Which one has offered a plan to insure that people can afford to run the heater this winter and pay for prescriptions needed to stay alive .Social security benefits have not kept up with inflation .
We have the largest homeless population short of war torn nations and third world poverty .
We have the largest debt in history and no end in sight to spending and a growing government .
We have created a justice system that has incarcerated more of its people then any free society around the world .
We have 30,000,000 people right at the poverty line and 15,000,000 below it .
Who is going to fix the major problems facing America while people argue over abortion ,gun control , executions ,and if gays should be allowed to marry.
Those issues pail in comparison to the 40 million Americans who need something to change in America in order to crawl out of poverty and despair .
Seems the poor can get medi-care to cover a happy pill so they do not feel the pain of living in despair .
CHANGE IT.

It's about time we had a real man and a real lady in the whitehouse... Long live the Bush legacy. AMEN

On NPR this morning there was a story about the lady in charge of the Florida voting system.. that's right... we all remember the one... well apparently she said "9/11 widows are enjoying their husbands death" ..... also, she apparently voted in the wrong district and has failed to submit her current address as requested... and guess what.. that's a felony!... so my question is, do you think those pathetic people who have had nothing better to do for the last couple of days than bash Kerry will stop with the BS now?

(the issues of most concern to the people according to polls).

Are they even discussed in anything but the most general terms?

How do you get to become a US Senator and be so out of touch with reality? Oh, sorry he's from Mass, he has issues.

That minister who opposes same-sex marriage yet apparently pays for gay sex on the side?

The environmentalist who drives SUVs and takes private jets across the country, wasting thousands of gallons of fuel?

The conservative talk-show host who is thrice divorced and abused prescription drugs?

The president who championed women's rights, but who harrassed women (and probably raped one)?

Does the hypocrisy of the advocate mean the cause is not worth supporting? Am I now free to support same-sex marriage, thumb my nose at global warming science, abuse drugs and accost women, because even the advocates can't live up to their own standards?

Or, do you feel differently about each case? If so, WHY?

Doesn't it all boil down to what you believe about these issues in the first place?

Since Haggard admitted "some" of the allegations are true (methanphetamine usage and using the services of a gay male prostitute), won't coming to his defense be filled with political peril for Bush?

The President and Haggard used to have regular telephone "counseling calls". Are those over with?

The amendment aims to give constitutional protection to egg harvesting. Well who do you think they are going to lure with cash to endure a lengthy and painful procedure that require daily shots of hormones and other procedures to fake the body into harvesting multiple eggs. Thousands upon thousands of eggs are needed for research, and for the most part there will only be one source: Low-income women, most of which are black in Missouri.

And to think that Michael J Fox did a commercial, purposely not taking his meds (oh, wait, he said he was overmedicated actually), to convince people to vote for this exploitive measure.

Pelosi has been hiding for weeks, in the middle of a hotly contested mid-term election.

Seems that what ever outlandish statement and mis-characterization made is swallowed hook line and sinker . Who cares what John Kerry says or does not say when voting for your political candidate .It would be like saying all republicans are like Bush and that certainley is not true .
Just add the tag that something someone said will translate into a loss of votes for one side or the other and you have the mindless drones who want to vote for the winner and not elect a person on their own merit .

Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX): On the October 31 edition of MSNBC's Hardball, Armey said of the attacks on Kerry's remarks, "Well, it's pretty standard fare in political discourse. You misconstrue what somebody said. You isolate a statement, you lend your interpretation to it and then feign moral outrage." When host Chris Matthews stated that Kerry "was trashing Bush," Armey responded, "Right," and went on to say, "A fundamental premise of politics is we can make this work if people just never figure it out."
