Actually no.
Republicans have capitalized on a ten second sound bite true. But that only has the apptitude to bring more republicans out.
The left is going to maintain their camp regardless of the issue so it comes down to...
Moderate America and the independants who will find out what Kerry said during the whole of the speech leading up to the "questionable" comment. Afterward they will dismiss this fiasco as republican desperation in a uphill battle and vote for what it is they want... change.
So Republicans should not cancel the movers, because even though this event makes the races razor thin, many Republicans will be going home in January.
