Well, they are divisive and controversial figures, and the democrats don't want them to be the people voters think of next Tuesday.
This after Nancy Pelosi admitted to picking out the curtains for her new office when she is sure she will be the next Speaker of the House...

Nancy Pelosi was at a sold out televised event with the big dog two nights ago in Frisco and was interviewed live I believe on CNN two days ago in her home district where she is running for re-election. Dang a pol in her district 5 days prior to an election. What a clever way to hide.
This is what happens when you drink to much of the kool-aid and get all of your news from the self hating closet homo sludge and the oxy addict.

Maybe if you and others on this thread watched more than just fox news you would know that there not hiding at all. Dean was on the tube last weekend, Kerry's been on all week. Pelosi hiding for weeks? Are you kidding me? What are you smoking?

play 'Possum till after the election. So far it seems to be working.

I don't think they have any clue how out of the mainstream they are, so I don't believe they are really hiding at all. You just don't see them because no one has invited them within a mile of a tv camera.

They are hiding because they KNOW they can only hurt their party - not help it.
WHY would they hurt it? Are their actions and ideologies so bad as to turn off voters? YES
Why would you want to vote for a party that HIDES it's top people at election time?
Where is Ted and Hillary? Obama was in WI
but no other top Dem made it here and we have a very close race for Governor going on...

The party's leaders, instead of helping their candidates by publicly supporting them are helping by staying quiet and out of the way.

i guess you haven't been listening to the news or you'd stop trying to bash democrats and start trying to CYA again like republicans always do... the lady in Florida who is in charge of all the voting and was for the past couple of elections? yeah.. she said that all the 9/11 widows are enjoying their husbands deaths.... ouch.. oh yeah.. and as of right now they are seeking her for felony charges... it hasn't gone to the prosecutor yet but it will very soon if she doesn't respond... she voted in the wrong district and hasn't responded to requests for her correct address..... and she'll be in jail if she doesn't... that's right.. run away now and get a life.
