I love the Greatest Generation. As young people they survived the Depression, then they defeat Hitler in WWII and if that wern't enough came home and built our Interstate Highway System we enjoy everyday and gave us more doctors, hospitals and engineers in the history of mankind.

but they made one mistake...they spoiled their children...they gave them everything they never had.

The Results:

Modern Day Liberalism. In the 1960's these spolied brats gave this nation drugs and sexual abuse and if it feels good do it mantality that we as a nation are still paying for. Their selfishness and abuse may take a few generations to clean up. They are the wrost generation this country has ever produced. The "Spoiled Generation" has given us a 53% divorce rate, aboration on demand and more lawyers than engineers.

First, anything religious will be poorly rated and dismissed. I need real reasons, like a study or statistics.
Why is gay marriage wrong? Why does America say I can't love and marry another woman? Is it Constitutional to put these bars on some one's heart? The Constitution says we are all entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but what if in my pursuit I find myself hopelessly desperately in love with another woman?
With the rate of orphaned and abandoned children high and increasing, why can't a gay couple adopt a child? Even in same sex families, there is a clear definition of what "mommy" and "daddy" do, that there is a dominant bread winner and a submissive care taker. If I were to get pregnant and have a little girl, what would hurt her more? Saying "Daddy didn't want you so it's just you and me." Or my marrying a woman and raising her in a loving home, where she is cared for and this submissive woman can be mommy and I as the dominant can put food on the table?

I feel that affirmative action was a noble attempt to make up for past discriminatory policies against marginalized groups, but what makes African and Hispanic Americans more deserving than others?

Asians have had history full of discrimination in the US too, for example the Japanese interment during WWII and People v. Hall, which stated that Asians could not testify court. The Irish also had a tough time when the first came to the US, just think “Paddy Wagon.” Using the same argument to maintain affirmative action, shouldn’t Asians and Irish be given an equal boost too?

Would it not be more appropriate to establish a color blind quota for university admissions based on family income?

According to a Princeton study (http://opr.princeton.edu/faculty/tje/espenshadessqptii.pdf, pp, 303-304) If affirmative action policies were abolished, Black and Hispanic acceptance rates would fall by “one-half to two-thirds,” Whites would gain “0.5 percentage points” and Asians would “rise by one-third.”

Privatizing all resources.
Making unions illegal.
Taking away most social services and public welfare.

The Libertarian vision implemented by the neo-cons and thier so-called "free market" enterprise planned for Iraq is and will be an utter disaster. Why are so few neo-cons willing to accept that thier so-called "conservative" principles equal failure, dehumanization, and create the massive unemployment we see in Iraq today?

Are they trying to say to vote for them or Bin Laden will get you? How is it possible that 5 years after 9/11 Bin Laden has not been caught and we are at war with a Nation that had nothing to do with 9/11. How is it possible to use Bin Laden in the ads as if one does not vote for the Republicans, Bin Laden will surface and attack, yet they have not provided his corpse, or live body, only videos and speeches of him whenever the GOP is in a tight scandal.

state that the Democrats are soft on defense when Republicans have been in power for over 6 years and it takes another country (China) to make Korea back down with their Nukes? The Iraq invasion is a disaster (don't blame Liberals, they haven't any power in D.C. right now) and Afghanistan is going down the dumper as well. How can you still believe the spin that Republicans are stronger?
