The Iraq invasion is a disaster (don't blame Liberals, they haven't any power in D.C. right now) and Afghanistan is going down the dumper as well. First of all, yes, it took China to make North Korea back down. BUT that's not because the US is weak. It's simply because Jong thought that China was going to back him up. He was wrong.
Wouldn't you back down if even your "big brother" was against you, along with the rest of the world?
What's going in Iraq was APPROVED by both Democrats and Republicans, so don't give me that crap about how it's all the Republicans' fault.
Not only that, but what's really known about what's going on in Iraq? All most of us know is what the news media tells us. And most of over 150,000 soldiers can tell us different, RIGHT NOW.
I believe them, not the media.
As for Afghanistan, Democrats approved that one as well.
I didn't realize that not only are our politicians responsible for everything that goes on in our own country, they're also supposed to have foresight. How were they supposed to know what was going to happen?
The Middle East is a mess. That's no one's fault but the people who are there. This has been going on for centuries, even before America was discovered. So, neither Democrats NOR Republicans are fully to blame.

You practically answered your own question, retardo! If a Democrat was in power we would be under constant attack from terrorists as the U.S. would be 'nice' to them. Maybe the Republicans know which battles we have to fight for ourselves and which ones are unnecessary. Maybe they are not the warmongers you would like to lead people to believe. It has been evident to me that China is pulling the strings of N. Korea and will only let them go so far. The USA just gave them enough rope to hang themselves which is a smart stategy.
