Clearly international law is not applied equally to all countries. The distribution of atomic weapons, the forcible removal of governments we do not approve of and the recent merciless punishment of Lebanese people by the regional superpower, on the flimsiest of resons, are clear proofs of it.

There was of course a time when a country's laws also were not meant to apply equally to all citizens, but after many upheavals and revolutions, we have gone past that.

Would it be better for international relations to carry on with the present notion that might is right, and continue paying the cost in lives and money, or is it time to agree to have the same law and same rights for all?

Many politicians think that independence is on the cards for Scotland. Do you think that it would be a good or bad thing and please state why. Thanks

If I made an outlandish statement like that republicans would be justified in insisting that I back it up with proof. Why then is it acceptable for some republican to accuse democrats of equally outlandish things but they don't feel the need to offer evidence what so ever? There are democrats who do the same thing.

Some examples.

Sooner or later this will come to light and the MSM will have to report on it. The guy who made the movie with Robin Williams thinks that there will be problems this election since the problem was never addressed. The way the GOP will finally get in trouble is when they over reach.

I personally think that it is just like a Marshall plan for India from US but with a motive to make India dependent on US. Though I know Marshall plan was in a different context but still. And though we all know that US does nothing until it has his own interest involved in it, like it was with Marshall plan, (all US needed were countries to buy their imported goods which it found in war ravaged europe), but now those markets are stagnating so US needs new markets and what better than the largest democracy in world. Also, US is doing it to counter china economically. So what would be great if India just concentrates on its own Fast Breeder Reactor program for growing energy needs, we have lived through many hardships for 60 years so why dont we just go through this phase and beleive in our scientists and support them,as its a matter of time like may be 10 years that our FBW program is a success. Please comment responsibly and it would be great if Indian scientist community also responds
