When I go to a restaurant, I look at the menu, not at what everyone else in the place ordered. I may discuss my choice with the waitstaff or my dinner companions, but I don't care what the majority of people want.

The tastes and judgement of the majority of people are responsible for what's on television, from COPS to Martha Stewart. Why should I respect their judgement on something that's actually important like what I have for dinner or who gets my vote?

Positively everything influences my political choices. Poll questions that blatantly seek particular answers insult my intelligence and cause me to take a dim view of pollsters and the spin doctors that use them. Party-line Reps and Dems are all sheep. This includes legislators who are not true House or Senate leaders.

As to whom to vote for? Never. I have already made my mind up on that one.

Propositions? It gives an indications, but doesn't exert that great of a pull

Maybe for those who are undecided but not for someone who has true convictions , at that point nothing would change it..
