Bill Clinton’s 60th birthday party is just around the corner, but this won’t be a cheap ticket.
Invitation “packages” start at $60,000, all of which are designated for the former President's own non-profit organization.
The price tag for celebrating 60 years of Bill goes up from there, with the “Birthday Chair Package” running a cool $500,000.
Guests won’t be disappointed, though, with a full weekend of activities on the itinerary, including a golf tournament at the exclusive Bayonne Golf Club in New Jersey, dinner at the American Museum of Natural History (on loan for the occasion), and countless receptions, teas and the like.
For the finale, the Rolling Stones will give a concert for 2,100 or so guests at the historic Beacon Theater on upper Broadway. Even we have to give the Clintons credit for this one—the Stones are the perfect choice to cap off such an event. After all, not only are the Stones the very embodiment of self-absorption and debauchery that the Clintons so admire, but who else besides Mick and Keith could stand on stage next to Bill and Hillary and actually make them look good?
