I don't even know how to respond. It's redicuous how much we are spending on this war and how little we care about everything else. I know it's about oil...or money...or poor people...or something. I think I'm burnt out from all these lies.

I can't believe the Senate approved ONLY 70 billion. No price tag is too high when America is at war. I think we should increase it. We can take the money out of the schools. And the hospitals. Oh, yes, and also from the monies allocated to repair roads, bridges and railroads.
I'm calling my congressman 1st thing Monday morning.

They felt that the war needed that much. Most of our hospitals but for the teaching ones, are private industry and the only way they get federal funds is to pay for health care for the needy and the illegal immigrants. The schools get their share but not from this $70B.None out of this for roads or bridges. Railroads are not public business. If you need to know all of this information, you need to find out where to look it up.

The money is necessary for our troops to succeed. New Orleans got more than enough money, they need to use it and do something. Our schools get way too much money and will always have too much even if it is $1 per decade as long as they continue to fail the way they do. The money for transportation is more than adequate, some of it just gets used for other things because politicians can't control their spending. I am not sure about hospitals, but since you are the first person in my lifetime that i have heard mention them, then they probably get enough, besides till they stop way overcharging like $10 for one band aid they shouldn't get any government money.

I think the soldiers need to finish their jobs over there. How about the people in New Orleans start working? I here Mc Donald's, and Taco Bell are paying $12.00 an hour and a $5000.00 signing bonus! Or should they be paid more to flip burgers and fill tacos??

Because war costs money. They all do. You can't fight a war with a rubber band and a gum wrapper. I mean the guys and gals in uniform are fantastic at what they do but they are not McGyver...

Because the senate have to do what Bush requests, or be subjected to blackmail for their child molestation activities, in which they all take part.

To begin, new orleans has not spent the money it was given, their gov. and mayor are holding it for something, who knows what.
Then, what does one have to do with the other. Do you feel our troops need to be short changed because you want to see more handouts?
Typical lib.

etc etc etc, Makes me sick to think OUR tax dollars MY hard earned money is going into a $70 billion GOP ad campaign.
New GOP slogan..."fear the terrorists vote Republican"
never mind that they MADE the terrorists in the first place. From an organized band of losers well funded but small.,, to an organized band of losers well funded with tens of thousands knocking at the door to join.
