Or did he ask his friend Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to create a diversion by sending the Hezbollah boys to cause trouble? Could it be that he is so embarassed about his failed long range missile launch and didn't want the attention at present?

The biggest irony is I can predict when we will be attacked or threatened. All you have to do is know an election is looming and if the Repub party are in political trouble you can expect some sort of large scale terror attack or threat.

It's funny how the GOP benefits.
9/11 Bush's ratings sky rocket from 40% to 90% in just a few days. Lame duck President to super hero in just a few days.

Kerry v. Bush..after the last debate it was neck and neck. In fact Kerry had a slight lead. But low and behold between the last debate and Nov. 2nd Osama Bin Laden addresses the nation. Advantage Bush..he wins.

Fast forward to today. Polls show the public want Dems to control Congress. Not that Dems are great but Repubs have failed. Like clock work..Giant terror plot thwarted.

It just seems that if people are scared. Repubs love it.

Yahoo Answers seems happy to allow many questions justifying the killing of civilians by Americans.

Why is it then, that when I suggest that deaths of American civilians was completely justified on 9/11 (in view of the casual attitude of Americans to foreign civilian deaths) my question is deleted?

I ASKED THE ABOVE QUESTION 2 DAYS AGO AND WAS LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT!!!

Do you prefer living in a democracy, but with poverty, or in a dictatorship, but without poverty? It's not the case that such things exist today...

Is democracy still better than dictatorship, when in the first there are big social-economical differences and, in the second one, there are much less?

I know that it's not the political system that determines such things but the distribuition of the richness among the people. Anyway, I asked!

Tnx for the answers!

Shouldn't we protect our country at any cost?
Liberals should also be rounded up and jailed! It is because of them people still have access to terrorize this country. Thanks to President Bush and Tony Blair we avoided another 9-11!

WE have been attempting to control oil and its price for years as our money is tied directly to oil prices .
WE print money and it is accepted the world over and has for some time now been the target of oil producing nations .
THEY have negotiated to trade oil for Euros and this is bad for the american dollar and the real reason for all the troop commitments and our presence in the middle east .
IT is the control of oil and its price that makes the american dollar go round and round the world .
IF this were to change america would no longer be the worlds leader .
SO control of the oil is part of the control of the wealth of the world
AS the only producer of money and in control of the worlds oil reserves america will sit safely as the rulers of the world for the next 75 years .
THIS is the goal and nothing can change americas course no matter who is in the white house public opinion will be the force that leads to the ultimate take over of the middle east and Israel will be restored

The word "Semite" is used so often by the media to describe people of the Jewish faith. But, if you look it up in the dictionary you will find a much broader definition. How many people realize this fact and why is our media using it in this manner?

Honestly. It seems as though the world is blaming the United States for most of the world's current problems. Does anyone else do anything wrong? Are terrorists just innocent people expressing themselves by blowing themselves up and murdering thousands? I'm just looking for opinions here. And maybe a peek into the mind of those who think the United States is the cause of the world's strife.

I am sick and tired of all the battles going on and am and have always been trying to work towards a peacefull solution but peace is not possible .
THIS is the point i am at .
WE have Identified the terrorists who they are where they come from and the cause of terrorism .
WOULD you disagree that Islam IS the root cause of all terrorism directed at the U.S. and its allies.
THAT ISLAMICS around the world have declared openly that they will KILL all none Islamics if they can ,with special attention payed to america and our allies .
THE latest attack is from british ISLAMICS who did not just move there but have been born and raised in Britain .
THIS leaves me with one thought that it is true that it is THE Islamic religion and followers that are the real threat .
THIS being the case what can be done .
A civilized people attempt to identify the more radical members with-in the organisation except when it is so pervasive as to be unable to seperate the radicals from the ordinary peacefull
