By and large we opted for market forces and liberalism , throwing in humanism to make sense of it all, and you kept us trapped by godly fear and brutal inquisitions.
In Britain, we are a liberal democracy, thriving on freedom of expression and individualism, and all though we moan about it, it's the best country on earth. We do roughly what we like, when we like, and according to global opinion, we are actually some of the nicest people about. Even when a few irish/muslims get together to throw bombs about the place, we go figure and be nice to them
so...our girls like short skirts, the guys like a beer or two and our government is run by gays...religion? Pah
